I was asking what their source was for knowing who is on JM's rebuttal witness list. I know what he needs to prove, but so far, I've only seen confirmation that he added the Tesoro and Walmart employees to the list.

I know sometimes there is a waiting period before the full witness list gets released, to the media. So that may be the case. Some witnesses may have to fly in and so they have to be scheduled or they have other obligations. They just have to make sure that the defense knows they are coming, and the defense has reasonable time to prepare. That's the way it was done in Fl anyway.

Because JM has already put it out there that he said he'd lie for her. Oh and that he was the intended recipient of the coded magazine messages. MM would get annihilated on cross if he testified for the defense IMO.

Thanks. Makes sense.

I think that's HLN's version of what Martinez will cover--Martinez never gave HLN an interview. HLN mentions borrowing gas cans, but neglects to mention the purchased gas can from WalMart in Salinas that Jodi lied about returning.

They never have their facts straight.:moo:

They're to busy getting their air time straight. Your right I think this is just a summary of what HLN thinks need to be proven.

I was just noticing the board it goes from like 800-900 during trial to 14 or so during the early morning, for insomniacs like me. I can barely keep up with the board during trial.

How do you know he confessed to a bishop then?

and began the repentance process. The reason I know is that heard one of his friends interviewed on HLN and said he was in the repentance process after Jodi had moved back to California.

This is not testimony under oath, however.

I'm sure he will be bringing in character witnesses for his rebuttal case to impeach some of the testimony given by the defense. Hey I finally reached 3k posts. Yeah me.

I think I read on the legal thread that character witnesses are more for the mitigation phase. IIRC it said that character witnesses are irrelevant to the case. They can't put people up there just to talk about how great of a guy TA was... Just like the defense can't call people to talk about how great they think JA is/was.

Wasn't the book he was writing part of his repentance process also? I wonder if that book will get released once this trial is over?

Thank you for a very insightful post. I have a question that has been nagging at me since we have seen the shower pictures. Do you think that it is possible that Travis was praying and crying during the shower photos. He had once again broken his vow of chastity. I don't know, but the one shower photo with hands to his chest and another one where he appears to be crying. If you look at the one where it appears that his eyes are red and their is snot coming out of his nose. It was just a thought.

In my personal scenario, which I am writing up, I believe Travis has been trying to get Jodi to leave for hours. He is exhausted and has been subjected to her accusations and begging possibly all night. She keeps demanding to know what he has told each person they know. He assures and assures her he has told no one that she has hacked into his accounts and stolen from him, slashed his tires, etc., he unwittingly signs his own death warrant.

Now she is assured that if she kills him, he will never sit with Mimi Hall in Cancun, telling the other PrePaid Legal Winners a new scary story, "We were all shocked at the person Jodi Arias turned out to be. I mean, poor Mimi here was terrified on our first date when she recognized her following us. ANd then she slashed my tires twice, hacked my bank account, why--she's a criminal!"

Could Detective Flores be Mormon?
(duh I have been spelling it wrong my apologies!)
Det Flores seemed to be knowledgable about it when
speaking to JA.
Surely there are some in the department that
are and know these things. I hope!

Just realized my PC is 2 days old and I just mucked it up with pics of her bits! grrr...:banghead:

He uses the appropriate inside jargon plus she refers to him as a Mormon also when explaining that she was hesitant to be open about the sexual activities because he (Flores) was Mormon and that made it more embarrassing.

The first book out will be Jody's mother, then Samuels, then Nurmi and everyone down to and including Mike and the bailiff.

OH - and don't forget Jean Casares, Beth Karras and Nancy Grace

Here is some information I pulled up on Character witnesses. They can be very relevant.

She's cornered and she knows it. She's playing sweet innocent girl role to try to deflect the killing.

How do you propose getting that narcissistic rage going?
She's so vain - seems like it would be easy.

BBM- sounds like a cliche; annihilated on cross. lol.

Because JM has already put it out there that he said he'd lie for her. Oh and that he was the intended recipient of the coded magazine messages. MM would get annihilated on cross if he testified for the defense IMO.

From what I understood Travis book was ready for publishing. I don't know if that meant he needed a publisher. I know his family must need money because they have been there in that courtroom loyally for him daily. Hearing and seeing the worst things about their brother daily, I don't know how they do it.

Did anyone see the video that was a tribute to Travis. Was the guy with the long hair (wig) Travis? I'll try to find it but I may run out of steam before I do.

Why didn't the Defense call Matt?

Because JM has already put it out there that he said he'd lie for her. Oh and that he was the intended recipient of the coded magazine messages. MM would get annihilated on cross if he testified for the defense IMO.

Oh, I would pay so much see to see that happen. It's normally called the icing on the cake and Jodi would go ballistic which would then be called icing on the icing on the cake.
