Sorry, but who the he// cares about how JA makes out in prison? Not me!!

I don't care about JA either, I am just posting some information, nothing more or less. AFAIC she's done. It's too late for her, she would never do well on the outside.

We can all learn a lesson from this case too. We need to pay more attention to our children, get the help needed when needed when they are young so more of these cases are avoided. :seeya:

There are meds for almost every personality disorder. LOL

This is an example of meds for antisocial personality disorder:

"Antidepressants may help improve depressed mood, anger, impulsivity, irritability or hopelessness.

Mood-stabilizing medications. As their name suggests, mood stabilizers can help even out mood swings or reduce irritability, impulsivity and aggression.

Anti-anxiety medications. These may help with anxiety, agitation or insomnia. But in some cases, they can increase impulsive behavior.

Antipsychotic medications. Also called neuroleptics, these may be helpful if symptoms include losing touch with reality (psychosis) or, in some cases, anxiety or anger problems are present."

Plus she may have access to therapists, social workers, etc. when in prison.

What are the meds for psychopathy?

I was just thinking. With all the money to be made with book deals about high profile cases, is there anything in place to keep a juror from intentionally hanging a jury in hopes of getting rich off the notoriety? It seems a stupid thing to do but I could see it happening in any high profile case.

He wasn't put on the prosecution's witness list last week -- for sure.

Oh yes
She looked at something on the desk and asked nurmi " what this" so maybe a witness list with his name.

After watching the interro tapes, she def needed some valium.

She may be on a typical "first line" anti-depressants that is prescribed like candy. Well... in Canada anyways, not sure about the US.

Why would she be put on psych meds? She has no diagnosis....unless she develops something due to her prison stay. Even if she's officially diagnosed with some form of personality disorder there are no meds for that.

The name rings a bell. I wonder what info he may have?

Well, among other things, if he testified for the prosecution, he could deny that Jodi ever told him that Travis broke her finger -- and he might tell the jury how she planned to concoct that story and wanted him to verify it. Whoooops....:what:

Thanks sleuth5.. I think I kind of gave up on even trying. I was told everything from how I was not being PC, to how Jodi is innocent and I just don't see it.

Needless to say, I only rely on myself and my eyes and ears to decide what I think. I don't need anyone else to do it for me. :twocents:

my dad and I were just talking about this. There should be laws to prevent this!

I think psychopath and sociopath are now lumped as "antisocial personality" in the DSM-IV. (pls correct me if I'm wrong)

On this link http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/an...isorder/DS00829/DSECTION=treatments-and-drugs there are a number of medical treatments for conditions associated with antisocial personality.

I believe JA is an antisocial personality. We'll have to wait and hear what JM's expert says.

Psychopathy is caused by a malformation in the part of the brain that deals with moral reasoning.

The sixties and seventies.

Exactly. Her job doesn't require any true thinking. She just spouts her opinions and tells stories. Easy money for a mediocre human being.

Are there any other reports that JA was mean to animals besides the incident where she kicked Doggy Boy when she was in high school? On the interrogation tape (I think the 4th one), she talks about kicking him and he "moved a few feet." And then she says he ran away and she never saw him again after that.

What are the chances that the one time the psychopath admits to hurting an animal, the dog "ran away" and was never seen again? When she said that, my first thought was that she killed Doggy Boy.

That is my thought, too...I think she killed that dog and it empowered her...I think Doggie Boy may have belonged to one her younger siblings which she was way jealous of because they were getting the attention then instead of HER. I think she kicked that dog to death when she was a Freshman in High School, then left the family a year or two later.

No. He wasn't on the rebuttal witness lists filed within the past three weeks. Just Tesoro, Wal-Mart and Brown from Mesa PD

eta: maybe we're missing each other. He's not been listed as a rebuttal witness afaik.

Karmady posted the other day about looking at the list on the courthouse computers.

From what I recall Robert Brown, Computer Analyst with Mesa PD was added to the states rebuttal witness list. As well at the two employees from Wal-Mart and Tesoro.

ETA: I see Karmady posted right above me, so I was correct in my recall.

There was also the cat ordeal, she kept a cat/could have been a kitten for a friend for 2 weeks. Basically locking it in a room for the whole 2 weeks :furious: Probably never fed it or gave it water.

Jodi doesn't give a chit about animals. Which says a lot imo. She probably was jealous of Napoleon :furious:
