Am I the only one that thinks Jodie has aged a lot in the last 5 years. Is she allowed to wear makeup, as she did in the 48 hrs taping?

I think she has even aged since the trial started. Imo she looks homely now.

Wendi Andriano did too. When she murdered her husband she was a very attractive young woman but by the time she went to trial she was anything but.

Now I know a lot of this is planned by the defense. They want them looking plain and downtrodden with no makeup hoping to fool the jury.

And I can see JA getting her jail buddy to approach one of the jurors outside of court. Especially one that JA views as siding with the prosecution.

It doesn't even have to be anything nefarious as that. It could simply be a co worker or relative had mentioned something to this juror about the case.

But again it's all a guessing game since we really don't have a clue about what was actually said in the sealed interview. Ugh I'd pay big money to be a fly on the wall during those interviews.

What I'm really wondering is why has DBs sister Laura not testified for either side. I think it's more proof of premeditation than the gas cans. Jodi first tells Flores that she did visit Laura but when asked for her number, Jodi quickly says she waited for Laura to get back to her and when she didn't is when her plans changed and she decided to visit Travis.
If there was proof that she tried to get a hold of Laura but couldn't why wouldn't DT bring her in to testify? I don't think she's on Juans rebuttal list, why? It's really bugging me as I believe this is essential either way. Any body agree with this?

I especially don't trust anything connected to DB. I saw a post on one of the Juan Martinez or Travis Alexander FB pages that was supposedly from a chef from Ventana--he says that DB didn't quit as JA's boss & that she was an entitled little thing because of it. He lies for JA.

Speaking of depriving her of desserts and cookies, I think somebody should hack her hair off. Am watching interrogation tapes and she is clearly attached to her long hair. Spends a lot of time touching it, flipping it, running hands through it. She even spends many minutes picking long strands of her hair off a chair. Chop it into a bob or pixie cut. Take away some identity. Wonder how that would feel to her?

I did say it was a dumb question, but......... I don't care how tired he was, I would have thought the sex conversation would have made him more alert. It's not like he got tried and the conversation took a turn. It sounds the same from beginning to end. According to what I've read, the family wasn't close with Travis during the last few years. I can honestly say that I don't know how my brothers would sound on a sex tape. I've always wondered if Jodi didn't send texts, emails, chats, etc from his accounts. This phone conversation is just another thing I find hard to swallow. Like I said, I'm sure it's him or Juan would be all over it.....it just doesn't sound like him....to me!

Well they did get each other off twice so it made him alert enough. She also waited while he washed up after one. But he's obviously tired in the sex tape and sighs audibly at 3:18. But he's not the same throughout, to me, he's more animated at some spots than others.

If you listen to him at the 1:40 mark in the following video, and again from 2:23 to 2:42, then listen starting at about 3:28 in the sex tape and again at 1:00:58 where he sings, you'll hear that it's Travis, without a doubt.

Remember the Scott Peterson trial? There was talk about 1 juror and how everybody was sure she was pro Scott... She was the juror with the pink hair and spoke out after the verdict how guilty she knew he was. Just goes to show no matter what color hair they have no one is ever sure about anything until after the fat blue haired lady sings :great:

That thought has crossed my mind several times! Not only that, but I wouldn't put it past anyone on the defense team from sending people after JM. This is why I think it is best he avoid the "fans".

No although his Motion IS very vague what isn't vague is that it's certain that he is submitting his papers based off what Juror No. 5 said in the sealed interview. Juror No. 5 said something that makes the DT want Tri Color off the jury. Like yesterday.

So the Judge didn't know about this until he filed his motion?

The sealed interview? You mean the one that was held with the Judge about Juan's fans?

Couldn't they prove this with just phone records; as in JA never called DB's sister. DO they really need her to say that Jodi never called?

How funny was it when LBurdick started helping him with marking things as an exhibit before you enter them into evidence?

The family has not said one word about the voice NOT being Travis'.

The playing of it in court was a battle between the defense & Martinez--Martinez fought for the ENTIRE TAPE to be played, not just excerpts which the defense wanted.

He then spoke privately with the family that morning in court, making sure they would be fine with him playing the tape.

The judge then asked them if they wanted to stay.

JM fought for the INCLUSION of the tape.

The sound engineer VERIFIED it was Travis.

Think whatever you want--this happened at the beginning of the trial. There has been no side questioning the authenticity until today on WS.:facepalm:
