I'm not a legal eagle so grain of salt but I don't think it will mess anything up. I think she'll be dismissed and that'll be that. There are alternates for a reason. :moo:

I didn't think they had even announced which 12 would be jurors? I was under the impression there are 16 people who are potenial jurors and alternates. But they don't know yet which ones will be called. Of course I may be wrong.

That makes sense that none of them know which twelve will deliberate. Keeps them all psychologically invested in paying close attention.

I don't know for sure either....

I know this is a dumb question, and I'm sure it will get lost due to the new info about a mistrial, but I'm going to ask it anyway. Why do we believe that is Travis on the sex tape? It doesn't sound like the same person that we hear on the tapes where we see him. Travis didn't use drugs or alcohol, and it sounds like a man who is either drunk or on something powerful. I'm sure Juan wouldn't agree that it's Travis unless it was, but something is very strange about his speech on that sex tape. I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I'm late in getting here, and I may have missed it. Am I the only one that has a problem believing this is Travis?

Oh I have a question? If this juror #5 is dismissed can a gag order be instituted on her. I'd be curious what she has to say. Did she make a negative comment about Jodie lol, we'll if she's dismissed she's free to watch the trial don't know if she's allowed to discuss anything.

Beth Kara's just reported that this juror (#5) made a "bias comment" in front of other juror and probably was ratted out by another juror or two. What is concerning to me is that other jurors would rat her out if the believed in JA guilt. Why would ANYONE believe in her innocence at this point. Beth Karas also said its highly unlikely there'll be a mistrial. Thank God

According to Ryan burns he and Jodie also had phone sex. I think and just moo that she target naive vulnerable Mormon men.

True, unless she did something really inappropriate---like read something online and then share it with the others. I hope it is not something major like that.

But if she's dismissed, that might hurt a little. She is one that has been taking a lot of notes and will be able to adequately argue her case.

I hope this isn't true but if it is, c'est la vie. Maybe this is like the time Jodi's mom saw a juror talking to a family member of Travis'. Could be the DT is hearing whisperings and is pouncing on it, like with JC.

Ugh, this trial...I think the DT might be trying to get their case to stretch to the end of the week.

Beth says that juror #5 (known on the trial watchers page as "tri-color") was heard "making a statement " in front of others. It is not known if the "others" are jurors.

Shoot - our Katiecoo always said tri-color took many notes and paid attention. Hope we don't loose her.

No, I don't think it's a dumb question, but I imagine that the call has been verified.
IMPO, Jodi's conversation appears to me entirely scripted.
