HOW in the world can she be describing ALL her movements for the 31 days she was MIA? I couldn't tell you my movements from 2 days ago, muchless 31 days!

Has anyone notice that lately they have women escorting Casey instead of men. I think they have finally realized that she loooves the attention of a man. She probably has a thing Jose Baez by now. Hopefully, he is acutely aware of her mental status. I think the LE would be wise to find the hottest office on staff and have him question her. Or hell, have a whole slew of the hottest officiers. She would sing like a bird.

LOL. Yes, I noticed the women (and Lee) and I also noticed that someone on Nancy said that Baez's wife may have been him with the A's at their house for 20/20. I thought that was pretty interesting, perhaps telling. She may be on vacation from her job right now, "helping out" at the office as we type just to 'keep an eye' on things. I wouldn't want this particular client alone with my hubby 8 hours a day if I were her! Good police idea. Personally, I'm surprized she didn't have her cap set for Yuri. He's such a hottie, and cops seem to have been her type. Maybe she just wasnt thinking straight until it was too late and she was locked up in a cell.

regarding the three theories why Casey is at JB's office so much, I'm sure it's mainly to get out of her parents' house, also to meet with JB (though I bet he's busy with other things for most of the day), and I would think when she's there she uses the office computers because how else would she pass the time? She can't go wandering town, can't go out searching, etc. Regarding any affair, you can bet JB would not touch CMA with a ten-foot pole. my opinion anyway

I heard LP address the question of a relationship between Casey and JB, during one of his interviews. He said it wasn't happening and that JB has a lovely wife and family. Can't find it to link right now.

The idea that JB is keeping Casey at the office to control what she says.....I find it absurd. All it takes is one lapse from Casey, one sentence where she forgets to misdirect, and this case could be blown wide open. She can do that just as easily during all the hours she is not at the law office.

I agree. Visits are way to long at this point. She has not been chargerd with murder and if she is so inconnent then no need to work on that defense. It bs! I am suprised this much time was approved by corrections. Maybe she works there now. Shes working to pay off the services he providing to her.

Did it piss anyone else off when Baez said on the 20/20 specail that she "breaks down and crys infront of him all the time" OMG whatever! I guess they have something specail. He is scrum and she is scum.

I really don't believe Casey would have any type of a marketable skill.

With the hourly rate of law office clerical work vs the hourly rate of an experienced trial lawyer (irrespective of their skill...different topic) Madame Casey would have to be typing and filing non-stop, from the dawn of mankind to the end of the world as we know it, just to pay for any one week of the time that JB is giving her and this case.

That could be a slight exaggeration.

Maybe he locks her in the janitorial closet and she plays with all the cleaning fluids and chemicals.

It is strange that Casey spends over six hours a day at Baez's office and has done so the last time she was out on bail, and that she plans to do so now that she is out again. She cannot possibly be telling him her version of events for all those hours, as he would have tried to verify them the first time and realized they are all lies. It does not make sense that he spends so much time with her. That leaves only the following reasons. Weigh in which one you think is likely

1. He has developed some type of romantic relationship with her that has not been consumated, and she continues to try to seduce him, and he allows the flirtation and has become involved with her emotionally (she did try to seduce the security guy and she is motivated only by her desire to seduce men to help her)

2. Baez allows her to use the telephone and internet in his office which he
knows is not tapped.

3. Baez allows her to hang out at his office while he is doing other things so that she does not have to spend time at home.

Agreed, 2 and 3. I give Baez credit. He is going full out to protect and defend his client. In this case personally babysitting her all day everyday to make sure she doesn't do or say something that will incriminate her further.

After reading some of those emails Casey created that were supposedly from her employer, I dont think Jose would want her fiddling around with his files or doing any data entry work, her skills seems minimal at best, and apparently she isnt familiar w/spellcheck....

I don't know about a relationship but I DO know that this meeting with him 30 hours a week is a blatant attempt to skirt the issue of home confinement!

There is absolutely no reason to meet with an attorney that often on minor charges!

And she should have to stay at home with her miserable family!

She is getting the same breaks that someone who has a full time job gets and she does not have a job.

Its wrong and if I were a citizen of Orange County I would be on the phone to the judge and the home confinement officer and asking them about this!

She is allowed to be away from home from 10 am to 4 pm. If they allow 1/2 hour of driving time each way and 1 hour for lunch, that = 4 hours a day for coloring books or whatever she is doing. That is only 20 hours a week. At $300 per hour, I do not question why he does it. Why does she do it? Jose would never allow someone that he knows is a relentless thief access to his office computers. I also doubt they are doing the nasty. Why go out for Mcburger when he has a ribeye at home?

Ive read a few people write that she is at JB office talking to her friends online or using the phone. I have to ask, she stole from her best friend Amy and possibly killed her daughter. How many "friends" really stuck around? I find it hard to believe any of them want anything to do with her.

I worked with lawyers who handled hundreds of cases for me in a previous job and I can tell you there is NEVER a need to spend 20 hrs a week with a client. What about all the pro bono lawyers who worked on the FDLS in TX crap, anyone hear of a single atty spending 20 hours a week with either the kids or the parents. If JB is working pro bono they cant afford to spend that much time with one non paying client. What about his other clients, they cant be thrilled meeting with their atty with a baby killer sitting around. If I were JB's wife, I would definately be stopping that whole situation.
I think this will end up being yet another person KC tried to seduce.

I would be interested to know if JB was scheduling appointments (and billing) other clients during the time that CA is there. Is he working other cases while she is there "to work on her case." I would love to know the answer to that.

Also, if I was one of JBs clients I would not like that she was there in the office. She has honesty issues and I would not like her anywhere near any of my files concerning my case. If she's on a computer that has access to case files I would be p.o. It doesn't matter if it is password protected. No telling what she might do with confidential information.

Maybe Jose thinks he will be able to get someone to pay the hourly rate for her being there.. from the defense fund.

This is pro bono, the state pays some. But it will not pay large amounts. AND it will go over ever line item.. 6 hrs a day babysitting, I don't think will fly.

After the stink this week, she might not be allowed to hang out there as much in the future. The presure will be on the system to explain 'how can this be'. Which ONLY happens in high profile cases. IT's the only tiem we get to see how it work, and complain about how it works.

I totally understand everyone's frustration with Casey apparantly getting her way, but the worst thing they could do is give Baez an opportunity to say his access to his client was limited by the court and therefore effected her case.

Under the terms of her home confinement isnt working included? I believe she is allowed to go to work... I hear McDonalds is hiring or Burger King. If she doesnt want to search for her daughter, then the least she can do is help pay for her defense.
Im glad I dont live in Florida anymore, if my tax money went to pay for JB to babysit KC, Id be Ape Ship. Especially when she can get a job and pay the bill herself.
