I totally understand everyone's frustration with Casey apparantly getting her way, but the worst thing they could do is give Baez an opportunity to say his access to his client was limited by the court and therefore effected her case.

True!
But then I would love to see him explain how he can spend that much time with all his clients. Tee hee.. And I think that would come up.

This might also be a situation where they requested the ablility to go, not that she will be going. Having it arranged where she can go, if something come s up, she is able to travel. And not bother her handlers. I kinda doubt this one, but it's a possiblity.

Maybe Jose thinks he will be able to get someone to pay the hourly rate for her being there.. from the defense fund.

This is pro bono, the state pays some.

I'm not quite understanding this. Where is it coming from???

The state and the taxpayers do not have anything to do with payment if defense counsel takes it on, pro bono!!!

Workin folks do pick up the tab, or part of it, if the lawyer is court appointed.

I haven't seen any evidence or documentation that JB is Court appointed.

Did I miss it???

I personally think JB is a blankin blank for allowing Casey to circumvent the terms of her confinement with this SHAM BS office time; I hope his other employees protest and quit. But, JB is doing it all on his own misguided dime

I am so upset about the "home" confinement, I have now forgotten what this thread is really about so I'll stop now.


This post in no way refutes, or is it meant to refute, the theory that the A family may have misappropriated donations to use as atty's fees.

Under the terms of her home confinement isnt working included? I believe she is allowed to go to work... I hear McDonalds is hiring or Burger King. If she doesnt want to search for her daughter, then the least she can do is help pay for her defense.
Im glad I dont live in Florida anymore, if my tax money went to pay for JB to babysit KC, Id be Ape Ship. Especially when she can get a job and pay the bill herself.

I think Jose realizes she can't be allowed near his case files.

McDonalds & Burger King wouldn't want the negative media. The rpoblem with high profile cases, is that it makes it difficult to get and hold down a job. Sure, the bosses will know. But it makes it difficult for everyone to work with the media and protesters, etc.

AT this momment, she is un-hireable. Maybe as a cleaning lady at a hotel? Nope, not even that.

My hubby said Jose is obviously working pro bono for Publicity. I agree.
But still, hes got to pay his bills, and he obviously has no other clients if hes with her day and night.
I dont think theyre doing anything shady together, but he IS catering to her to let her have her freedom which is sickening!

Whether or not Casey has a job has never concerned Casey. It is creating the illusion that she is employed which has mattered.


She gets everything for free anyway, either by this enabling coddling crap, or by stealing it.

This need to prepare her defense for this many hours is not real. It is an illusion, just like her employment.


However, nobody is buying it and rightfully so.

I really wonder if the Anthony's believe that Casey is there prepping for trial.

That would be a slap in the face as in,

One question I have about this is why would JB want her in his office all day PERIOD.
I have never, ever seen this.
I try to be charitable but deep down inside I think this speaks volumes.
Why is it that Casey needs to be babysat by him for long periods of time?
What goes on in that home that makes them all so uncomfortable with each other?

I don't know if that came up or not. It shows the court action on her case. Which includes on 7/17 the court appointing her a public defender.

Such cases are very limited in payment for the atty. Anything extra is pro bono.

Someone brought up the possibility of a "relationship" between casey and baez in another thread last week.. and I didnt honestly think that much about it at the time.. but.. given the day she was released.. his comment about "going to go get my girl" and the (IMO) intimate manner in which she put her hand on his chest to whisper in his ear.. I have to admit.. kinda made me start wondering.. add in these extremely long hours they seem to spend in his office.. Im beginning to wonder... especially given Casey's history of casual sex.. I just hope Im totally wrong and Baez is way way above that.

I've brought this up. I still feel there is more to their relationship that meets the eye and better men than Baez have risked everything for S-E-X.

I haven't seen that but I would venture a guess that Casey qualified for Court appointed counsel, declined that attorney, and then reeled in Baez.

Just a guess. I have not seen the documents.... I might be wrong.

It is strange that Casey spends over six hours a day at Baez's office and has done so the last time she was out on bail, and that she plans to do so now that she is out again. She cannot possibly be telling him her version of events for all those hours, as he would have tried to verify them the first time and realized they are all lies. It does not make sense that he spends so much time with her. That leaves only the following reasons. Weigh in which one you think is likely

1. He has developed some type of romantic relationship with her that has not been consumated, and she continues to try to seduce him, and he allows the flirtation and has become involved with her emotionally (she did try to seduce the security guy and she is motivated only by her desire to seduce men to help her)

2. Baez allows her to use the telephone and internet in his office which he
knows is not tapped.

3. Baez allows her to hang out at his office while he is doing other things so that she does not have to spend time at home.

I would go with all three...and if we remember Clinton and Lewinsky...a lot can happen in an office....

She is allowed to leave the house at 10 am. If it takes a half hour to get to his office and a half hour home, that is 5 hours a day. They probably do an hour lunch, so they actually only "work on her defense" for 4 hours a day.

Jose's wife is supposed to be a very attravtive and classy woman. I doubt he is slumming with the mom of the year. I think she was the redhead in the Geraldo boat interview.

how many men with a good looking mate have had that stopped them from cheating? Let's start with some of the movie stars...Jennifer aniston, halle berry, Uma thurman, christy brinkly...should I go on? But I degresss and I will stop.
