I can render a legal analysis without having been to law school. Perhaps I learned it from another avenue I had taken in life which dealt with law, but it doesn't make me less credible if I am correct in what I am saying.

OMG - I'm still trying to digest some of these posts...just wanted to throw my 2 cents in...

1. It amazes me that CA or whomever is even thinking about not allowing certain people to come to a PUBLIC memorial. I would think she would be focused on other things...such as her daughter's MURDER charge and upcoming trial; what REALLY happened to Caylee (although I think she already knows)...you know, do a little soul searching instead of searching for others to transfer the displaced anger to.
2. If LP has a different theory every hour...I don't care! He has helped keep this case in the forefront. I am thankful he's on NG every night...regardless of his accurate or inaccurate theories...at least he's for Caylee! It could be worse---he could be like GR's pro defense weekly guests.

I guess the memorial thing really struck a nerve with me...thus the reason for my comments/post. I just don't get it???

My 18 year old son lost 2...yes 2 friends last year from random crazy acts of violence...(that's for another rant)...anyway, do you know the number of people that were at the funeral...it was unbelievable...wayyyy more than just people from the high school and the colleges to which they had committed. Do you think the parents / family cared who was there? Do you think they even remember? I don't even think they held thier heads up long enough to see anyone. I know everyone grieves differently, but what person with a soul would be worried about who is attending a public memorial...enough to where they would want to publicly announce who can and can't come? IMO, someone who needs to get over herself and realize that she can't control everything! She seriously needs help...ok...enough...argh...going to the rants thread!

People will put more weight into a legal analysis from someone who has been to law school (recently) and/or has practiced law.

I am so right behind you on the way to the rants. I am furious that CA would be home writing up her invitation list to the funeral. It speaks volumes about her IMO.

It does speak volumes. It says to me that she's not going to allow some media hound who turned her granddaughter's death into a platform for his own self-promotion to further dishonor her granddaughter. Good for her!

BTW, just to keep things real, it was her lawyer who said the A's did not want LP there - probably in response to a question that was asked of him. No one said anything about Cindy writing lists.

One thing that I simply can not understand is why some people continue to give LP the "benefit of the doubt" & even go as far as to make excuses for LP's actions even though he continue's to prove that he's interested in nobody but himself.

I read things like...."LP is a Good Man with a Good Heart" or "LP's only concern is Caylee"

That's fine & everyone is entitled to their opinion but how do you explain the fact that LP went on a live Radio show & claimed that "Caylee was the product of an incestuous relationship between Casey & Lee"?

His supporters continue to defend him & say........"Well LP wouldn't have said such a thing if it wasn't true"

We'll there are 2 things wrong with that statement. Number one is, LP has said a lot of things that have been proven "Untrue" so his record for always telling the truth is "Spotty" at best. Number two is even if it were true why does LP believe he has the right to broadcast that news to the world? Who does he think he is? Is he purposely trying to hurt the Anthony's? LP said himself that he doesn't think Cindy & George were involved in Caylee's disappearance so is this the kind of news that two grieving grandparents should be hearing from a man they hardly know? Or maybe LP just doesn't care? Are these the actions of a "Good Man"? It seems like an obvious contradiction to me.

If LP truly cared about Caylee you would think that he would be a little bit more cautious when making statements that serve no other purpose than to tarnish her memory.

And you wonder why Cindy doesn't want this man near her Grand daughter's funeral.

I don't wonder why Cindy doesn't want LP there! Cindy is one of the most vindictive women I have ever seen when it comes to people who she feels has gone against what SHE says goes. If you do not do exactly as she demands...you are on her list. Her list is very long and I can name them in order if you like. I can even give you the comments of those who began as a help to her, but as soon as they figured out Caylee was deceased or that Casey was indeed lying...she publicly denounced them for one reason or another.

While I cannot speak for his exact reasoning for those comments about Lee, I believe this won't be the last time we hear them and it won't be coming from LP. I am not saying they are true or false. I do take note that not one single word of rebuttal came from the A fam about the subject which I found really interesting.

There are many people who speak publically who are not willing to include George and Cindy as having done something wrong. It doesn't mean they believe they have not...it only means they aren't going to say it outloud.

He bailed her daughter out of jail AND kept Caylee front page news when this story ( as many do ) slide to the back page. IMO they owe LP a debt of gratitude but they never will admit that because he had that family figured out long ago.

How much honor did it show for Caylee to allow her to lay in a garbage bag for six months while her dear ole' grandmother rode in limos, flew around the country, gave tirades on good people who were actually searching for her granddaughter, and take in donations from people who were being misled to believe it all in spite of scientific evidence to the contrary having been presented to the family?! Talk about a platform to further dishonor her granddaughter!! OMG! GMAB!!!

LP has done NOTHING of the sort to dishonor Caylee!!! GRRRR!

I AGAIN mean no disrespect to anyones opinions or judgements as I am not into either. I am a very open minded mother of two sons that are in the military. They have been to Iraq and Afghanistan fighting for the FREEDOMS that are being excercised in this forum.
I just DO NOT GET IT how some on this forum think they can decide if CA is right or LP is right?
I am not defending either of their "sides" but it is getting REALLY old on how CA would have ANY LEGAL or MORAL right to decide what LP can and cannot do? STOP IT! geesh enough is enough.

I don't agree with the IRAQ war but DID Agree to the war in AFGHANISTAN but either way, I RESPECT WHAT OUR SOLDIERS are sacrificing for us to be able to even come in this public forum and state our OWN opinions.

Do any of you that are judging and taking sides one way or another know these people personally? I for one have NO IDEA what I would do in this situation but do have a DIL that is a sociopath with my grandaughter and hope and pray that I do not EVER have to deal with any of this.
DO I lose sleep over it? YES! do I judge others for a situation that I have no control or experience with? NO!

I do however know what it is like to not be able to see my Grandsons because their daddy is over in Iraq and don't know if my son is alive or not.
IT literally takes my breath away sometimes and they are stationed in another state so I can't even spend time with them.

I guess maybe I am too greatful for the blessings that I do have instead of deciding what others should do with their own lives.

LP has, IMO, dishonored Caylee from the very start, when he bonded her murderer out of jail simply to get his own face in the media. Obviously our opinions differ, but that's okay.

I AGAIN would like to make the most important point in all this mess.

CA is the one that called the MEDIA! She is the one that called 9-1-1 and never had consequences for her daughter losing Caylee in the first place.
CA is the one that washed her own grandaughters blood from her daughters clothes.
The A's and JB are the ones that tricked LP into bailing her out in the first place so if I am going to attempt to lay blame where blame is due.

CA started this WHOLE thing as her daughter is a liar and lost her only daughter.

I would like to know personally why Cindy nor George came out and defended Lee on this accusation? Its it because both of them are grown and legally there is nothing that can be done now? None of us know the truth of LP's claim of incest, none of us. It could very well be true as sick as it seems. I don't think that we should judge him for making the remark as much as we should judge the FACT that not one member of the Anthony family has defended themselves on the accusation. Sometimes actions do speak louder than words.
LP may not be right all the time, but at least when he is wrong, he is man enough to admit to it. This is something you will never see from the Anthony's. IMHO.
What gives LP the right to broadcast such information? Well, honestly what gives anyone the right to dig so deep into this family anyways? The local media broadcasts things just as LP does. So, if we ask what right he has, we must all ask the same of ourselves and anyone broadcasting the case period.
I will not defend LP on his actions, as sometimes I don't agree with him either, but, I will never question his motives in this case, reason being is because if I must question his, I must question half of the world, because just as well as LP, we are all doing the same as he, just not in front of cameras.:blowkiss:
