Understandable..... IF your daughter is a responsible woman who is respectful to you and actually IS a good mother.

IF you had reason to believe she had problems coping with life... surely you WOULD question her.... if only for the sake of an innocent child.

Cindy & George had EVERY reason to question AND to verify what Casey was doing & whether Caylee was being properly supervised when she left their house.

Casey had taken Caylee and walked out the door to go to work many times. What was different on that particular day that they would question?

Funny thing about that is that would be about the time that Casey STOPPED working. April 2006 was when she last worked.

You know, everyone keeps saying April 2006, but her manager at Kodak specifies that she NEVER came back after Caylee was born...that was August 2005/so where is this April 2006 date originating from? He states that she left to have Caylee and she never returned again...

Exactly! Then Lauren got wind that she was being played and Casey was really out with friends. That is why Lauren stopped IIRC. AND, Casey didn't even pay her she said.

It is too expensive and dangerous to search the landfills. I guarantee you that they have not done this...unfortunately, the cost is prohibitive, and the dangers are very real, especially to cadaver dogs.

You know, everyone keeps saying April 2006, but her manager at Kodak specifies that she NEVER came back after Caylee was born...that was August 2005/so where is this April 2006 date originating from? He states that she left to have Caylee and she never returned again...

Oh, that's interesting, I hadn't heard that before. I remember reading that she'd been "let go" due to a combination of partying too much and coming in late and/or hung over, and also partying with people who she 'supervised'. But I don't recall the exact time she left her one and only job.

NOTHING!

Casey conditioned them well. They became numb to her crap & basically stopped asking questions because they knew they'd only get lies anyway.

The questions should have started AT THE BEGINNING. They allowed Casey's bad behavior to spiral into totally destructive behavior.... and the only reason they should have been vigilant is because CAYLEE was now at risk with a woman who was clearly unfit to manage even her own life let alone a dependent baby's well being.

No, that was Holly, although she said SHE babysat some too. Babysitter Lauren (there is 2 Laurens) is the one with longer brown hair in some of Casey's party pics. Not the ones after Caylee was missing I don't think though.

She was not "let go". She was pregnant and went on leave to have Caylee. The company transformed into Colorvision or was bought out by Colorvision or merged with Colorvision and they sent out notices for folks to come in and fill out the paperwork to transfer over into the new company. Casey NEVER showed up for this and was later let go for "job abandonment". She did not return after she had Caylee, and this is according to the man who hired her and for whom she worked in his statement. She abandoned her job with that company, and that is why I am always so confounded by this April 2006 date. She never worked for Colorvision, and she never worked for Kodak after she had Caylee which was August 2005...

You know I can't remember, I know it was somewhere in the docs (Lord knows where ) I'll try and check on that tomorrow and see if I can find it again. It stated she left during the first quarter of 2006 and then it was narrowed down to sometime in April.

She must have been making the BIG bucks to pay a sitter that kind of money. I don't think they get that much around these here parts... Heck, seems like she was just working to pay the sitter if that was the case-I mean, let's face it, as a young woman with no experience who did not even graduate who had only been working for a short time, how did she happen into a $30,000.00 a year job, because if she was paying the sitter $1,600. monthly this alone totals to almost $19,000. a year-so unless she was making about 30 thousand, then her sitter was making far more than she was...It just isn't feasible...She is such a DUMB liar-her lies don't even add up mathematically! lol

Well, it seems the signs were there for a long, long time & nothing was done to protect Caylee from a woman whose behavior was CLEARLY out of control, thoughtless & irresponsible.

So sad.
