Police are still searching for a young woman who mysteriously vanished, with 50 detectives and volunteers now combing through dense bushland to find her.

Police are continuing to search for missing woman Lucinda.
The 24-year-old was last seen in Dandenong on 16 October about 11am.
Enquiries by investigators have revealed she was dropped off by a rideshare vehicle in McDougal Road in the vicinity of Ingleman Road in Neerim South about 11.30am.
Lucinda is approximately 165cm tall with a thin build and blonde hair.
Police and family have concerns for her welfare.
An image of Lucinda has been released in the hope someone can provide information on her current whereabouts.
Police will continue the search on Wednesday with the assistance of other agencies including DELWP, SES and CFA.
Anyone who sights Lucinda or with information is urged to call Warragul Police Station on 5622 7111.

Police and volunteers are scouring dense bushland for a young woman who mysteriously vanished at the weekend.

Lucinda Miller, 24, was last seen in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong around 11am last Sunday.
She ordered a rideshare drive which dropped her off near a bush track along McDougal Road in Neerim South

The trail is about 2.5kilometres from the young woman's home.

There are now 50 police officers, including a dog squad, and volunteers searching for Ms Miller in dense bushland.

Police have also interviewed the rideshare driver who dropped Ms Miller off but there is no evidence to suggest they were involved in her disappearance.
Victoria Police Inspector Peter Fusinato said Ms Miller was familiar with the bush trail to her house and said it was strange she never came home.


'There's tracks all the way through it, it's out of character that she didn't come home,' he said.

He added there was 'no indication' that a 'second party' was involved in her disappearance.





Why get dropped off so far from her home, and along a bush track.
Maybe she didn't have the fare to be taken all the way home ?

We had a potential witness who had a sighting of Lucinda at 4pm on Monday, who was out of the search zone we’ve been working on for a few days," he said.

"The credible sighting — which certainly fits the description of Lucinda — was more south of the property she resides at, focused at Buln Buln towards Warragul.

"So we’ve moved a bit of our focus into that area.

"We just want to put that out there to the rural people who live in the area and anyone who had been there at the time."

Police have also interviewed the Uber driver and declared there was no foul play involved.

"At this stage we have absolutely no indication that a second party has been involved in Lucinda's disappearance," Inspector Fusinato said.

Inspector Fusinato revealed to Yahoo News Australia that as of yesterday's search, new information has been uncovered about Ms Miller's potential location.

If you compare the two photos of her, in the one in the pink top she looks happy, healthy, and vibrant. In the blue-background (ID photo?) she looks terribly thin, has deep bags under her eyes and her hair looks thin and unhealthy. I'd say this young woman was going through something.
