Here's one article mentioning him using Skype

Magnotta came into the public eye after news of the murder of his male lover, Jun Lin. However, St-Denis reached out to him through Facebook after watching the online videos of Magnotta allegedly killing some kittens.

They became friends, even chatting on Skype twice a week during the two months preceding Lin’s death, she said.

Great find Little Jedi!! So he was using Skype. Wonder why LE didn't ask her what name he was using on there? Now I wonder if he only started using it when he got his new computer and if his old one did not have a built in camera. Did he do all his recording to a camera and then upload?

And DStD should be on that CSIS watchlist I mentioned.
