There was also a report of a possible attempted break in on nearby Brookside Ave early Sunday morning. Makes sense if he was seen walking towards Albermarle Rd., Brookside Ave is right off of Albermarle Rd.! If it was him, thank god he didn't get in there too!![]()

Bloody, bare footprints found in the Massachusetts home where three people were killed Sunday led investigators to arrest a Newton man, prosecutors said Monday.
Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan identified the suspect as 41-year-old Christopher Ferguson. He has been charged with murder in the death of Jill D'Amore, who was killed Sunday along with her husband, Bruno D'Amore, and her mother, Lucia Arpino.

Ryan explained that investigators found evidence of forced entry in the basement, and signs of a struggle in a bedroom, "including broken furniture and a crystal paperweight covered in blood."
Forensic analysis of ceramic tile outside the bedroom revealed bloody prints of bare feet on the floor, according to the district attorney.
"Like fingerprints, the skin of people's feet is unique and leaves an impression that can be compared," Ryan said.
The footprints led authorities to arrest Ferguson, who was identified after being seen in surveillance footage walking shirtless with no shoes and "what appeared to be a staggering gait" on Albermarle Road, less than a mile from the crime scene and about 100 yards from his own home on Washington Street, according to Ryan.
I assumed you were being sarcastic, but I think I was wrong since I see no red flags on here and he looks like a loving son and uncle. He looks like a great guy from what I scrolled through on FB

This is purely IMO and based on my experience and my suspicions about what might’ve precipitated these awful and senseless murders:
I have a family member whose serious mental health issues presented (as is often the case with a particular type of mental illness especially common in young men) out of the blue right around the time he finished college in his early 20s. This was compounded by a TBI he suffered while engaging in reckless behavior while unmedicated for his mental illness. 10 years later, the extent to which he can hold onto even menial jobs and stay out of trouble with the law depends on his compliance with mental health medications. I genuinely fear for the safety of my other family members when he decides to go off of his meds, but there’s no way to force him to do so and so we all just kind of wait on tenterhooks to see what’s going to happen. I mention this because I wonder if the life of the perp here has followed a similar trajectory. And although I do not harbor any sympathy for him, I do feel sorry for his family members who are likely shocked by the brutality of his actions and who may have felt helpless to stop him from going off his meds (if he was on them at all to begin with). But, ultimately, I feel the most deeply for the victims and their loved ones who have suffered an unimaginable loss when, in a just world, they should have been celebrating the deceased couple and their mother/mother in law.
Emphasis mine.I found this quote by the parish priest interesting:
"Their 50th anniversary was to be celebrated in a blessing after communion at the 10 a.m. Mass. When they didn't show up – I can't go into the details about who discovered them – but we became notified, and myself and a number of the staff spent the day there," said the Rev. Dan Riley of Our Lady Help of Christians.
From: 'Senseless act of violence:' Family, church identifies 3 people found slain in Newton home
I'm pretty sure who discovered them is part of the investigation and or doesn't want to be identified right now.Emphasis mine.
Black bolded : Prob. part of the investigation ? Maybe a wellness check ?
Red bolded : Assuming he meant stayed on site at the church to notify the other parishioners know the sad news ?
A vow renewal would've meant other members showing up there ?
Obv. not at the house/crime scene ; but the wording is a bit confusing.
Imo.
Rest in peace to the deceased.
What brutal deaths.
Horrifying.![]()
