I was so shocked when I saw the alert on my phone this morning. My guess would be this was a decision he made awhile ago. The timing merely has to do with the fact that he didn't want to depart without knowing the resolution to this recent trial first. All about him. JMO

Suicide is such a complicated, tangled web of despair and heartache for every individual that it touches. It impacts and changes lives in so many ways. Sending prayers to those that are now left behind to navigate their journey with grief. It's a pretty sucky journey.

I bet there will be an investigation! I wonder if someone did him in, and I would not be surprised. imo

It just seems like such strange timing with just getting off on this last 2 murders and possible appeal. Then no suicide note found.

That was my first thought too - except they said he blocked the door. I'm shocked. I wouldn't have thought he was the type to hurt himself. Others yes, but not himself.

On what possible grounds could he have appealed the Odin Lloyd conviction? That was a slam dunk IMO.

Any chance there were De Abreu or Furtado sympathizers who righted the wrong, in their eyes? I'm reading that Souza is one of the most high tech prisons in the world. There will be footage, correct?

#AaronHernandez - AH jailhouse letter telling a disgruntled "fan" how they could kill themselves.

OMG I am shocked. I stream Boston radio stations and at 4am my CALI time I turned on my bedside radio to listen to WED headlines.

YIKES. I thought the announcers were discussing a HOAX that AH was dead.

Well that "possible" overturned conviction will certainly be a definite slap in the face to the Lloyd family.

RIP to all AH's victims. I agree it was another total act of control on AH's part.

I doubt it was murder.
