Fiancee’s conspicuous absence ratchets up Aaron Hernandez case intrigue
Shayanna Jenkins used to sit right behind Aaron Hernandez during the first month or so of his murder trial, but for the last few weeks she’s been noticeably absent — her front-row seat occupied by other family members or an occasional reporter.
Assistant district attorney Patrick Bomberg wrote that “Shayanna Jenkins … assisted the defendant in disposing of evidence after the murder, lied to the police and grand jury on behalf of the defendant, and met with the defendant’s murderous co-venturers to provide them with support and assistance.”
Jenkins is the star witness in this case, but she’s also a mystery. Prosecutors have given her immunity, which will allow her to be candid without fearing certain criminal charges. Still, there’s no telling what she’ll say.

I really don't blame her for not being there. Why should she? He has publically embarrassed her in so many ways. Perhaps she sees the true Aaron now, and will really tell the whole truth when she testifies.
