Nowadays we are lucky if it is live streamed, if not, it's trial by tweets. Wish they would bring back Court TV!

Yep, get ready for the theatrics. Baez is already moaning & groaning about the lack of time to prepare, along with other things. Glad to see this judge holding to his start date. Get ready for his opening and blaming it on someone else...my bet is on Bradley.

I have been looking forward to this trial, but watching Baez...urghh.

Thank you BUF. I remember watching both the Casey Anthony trial and Jodi Arias. I was home from work on a medical surgery for both and between websleuths and court T.V. I was kept busy.
As I have heard many times, AH played good football but he is just a ****.I bet that his only nightmares at the moment are of Superbowls and dollar signs, fame and glory that he is missing out on.
Oh wait, he has the fame but behind bars where he will hope that Jose can get him a free ride.

He blew it all away, trading where he could be for where he is now.
A **** that played good foot ball.

I have always wondered how much he thinks about the money and good fame he could had. He needs to be asked was it worth it....

That would be a great question for him, but doubt he would answer honestly as that would admit guilt.

Instead of playing in the excitement of the Super Bowl, getting all those pats on the back as he and his teammates celebrate, going home to his comfortable surroundings, and leaning back watching his large flatscreen with his woman and child and all his cronies ... he now watches the game on his small prison bought tv alone in his small cell lounging on his concrete bed.

His big outings now are being escorted to and from court for hearings and another murder trial. The only thing he has to look forward to is a new tat... but now he knows those can be used against him. He blew it all.

I have never thought that Biaz 'got' CA off, but more like the jury just 'let' her off. If I had a dollar and had done a serious crime, no way on earth would I hire JB.
In my book, he's a joke.
MOO

Breaking Fake News by Dex.

Aaron Hernandez allowed Jose Baez to represent him if Jose Baez agreed to give him Casey Anthony cell phone number. Lol

Now even though Aaron is already serving decades for the first guilty verdict.

It seems like Aaron is still fantasizing about freedom right about now. Jmo

Also. From a physical and celebrity standpoint. Aaron Hernandez will be respected in prison.

But from a big dumny point of view. He will always be the laughing stock amongst broke inmates that are laughing at the millionaire that couldn't leave the Ganster crap behind him while Brady and the New England Patriots team that Aaron was affiliated with, are winning multiple Super Bowls back to back while Aaron is realizing that he was the stupidest person in prison of all time. Jmo

This isn't an awards banquet, but a double murder trial for someone already serving a life sentence for another murder. Let the theatrics roll...

https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2...andez-trial/QSyXryL4oZ9WE5j3B3WycO/story.html

“Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, it’s nice to meet you,” said Baez, a high-profile lawyer who won an acquittal for Casey Anthony in a Florida child murder case that garnered national headlines. “It’s my privilege to introduce you to Aaron Hernandez.”
......
Robert Proctor, a Harvard Law lecturer who is also defending Hernandez, also introduced him on a positive note in court Thursday, telling the jury pool that he had “the honor of representing” him.

Borndem, thanks for posting that video up thread. It kind of looses it in print!

I know what you mean. I sympathize with some of the young gang members, who get caught up in dealing drugs , when growing up with gangsters for family members, absent fathers, drug addicted mama's, no role models---I can see how they may feel trapped into that life---

BUT Aaron the moron Hernandez had it all. He had NO REASON to get caught up in all that messy nonsense. He just looks like an idiot, in my opinion.

AH and Casey, there ya go!!!! I will assume Baez is through with her.
So young and so stupid.
And rob I agree, I also never felt that Baez won anything. The jury dropped the ball.

  • #315
Okay. How does Jose Baez make his money. Because Casey and now Hernandez is broke?

So does he have them sign over rights to their cases or what?

A potential juror was excused today after she confused the double-murder trial of disgraced former Patriot Aaron Hernandez with Deflategate.

“I heard something about Deflategate, but that’s it,” said the young woman, who was eventually excused after Suffolk prosecutors used one of their 16 juror challenges.

.......

Three jurors were selected before the lunch break - two women and one man. Al three are young and one of the women is originally from the Dominican Republic.

OMG you all are cracking me up! Maybe Baez is trying to make some money by offering tours of Attleborogh (for those who are coming to Foxboro from out of state to bask in Patriots glory) for those who have not had a chance in almost 4 years to drive by the house...

OMG....you would not believe what Felon AH lawyers want to use as a reason for the murders.....

"Aaron Hernandez’s lawyers are looking at a potential pot defense — a maneuver that would use his constant marijuana smoking as a last-ditch tactic to get the fallen New England Patriot out of two first-degree murder charges."

Lawyers have 2 witnesses they want to call...one 'knows' about 'pot' usage in the NFL and the other one 'knows' about the effect that 'pot' has on the brain and body.

''The two 'witnesses' "experts could be used in a Hail Mary maneuver to try to erase the mental state needed to convict Hernandez of two counts of first-degree murder."

Phil Tracy, a criminal defense attorney NOT on the case said that the felons attorneys are trying to show that prolonged use of "pot'' messed up the felons brain and he did mean to murder. Also that the defense is trying to get a 2nd degree murder charge.

IMO if this does happen, then why did the felon get all those tats showing his accomplished murders? The felon knew what he was doing. Let's see what can be thrown on the wall to stick. IF JB gets a 2nd degree, then I would not doubt that the felon would try real hard to get his first murder charge changed to....and try and get out of jail early. Do NOT think this will happen.

Well, just open the doors of the cells housing these so-called pot-murderers in of all the prisons in the country. Could you imagine the appeals that would pile-up if that dizzy defense were to work in this trial? I feel sure some folks here on WS have been stoned a time or two -- murder, h*ll no, pass the brownies. Dayam.
