And court starts with Locke introducing this judge also sitting with him. AH really looked befuddled..,

ATF agent Kelsch examined the blackberry that belonged to AH. He identified what was done and what he was able to get from the phone. Included were the photos of the tats, getting ready for the next witness (I believe). He was a great witness, answering clearly. When defense crossed, all they did really was put up all of these photos mostly of a baby asking him if these were also on the phone... very, very, very sly! Hope the jury saw through this.

Now we are on a break...

not much interest in this trial here...finding it interesting myself....but so far (on day 8) state has a weak case and with each and every witness has been really taken down by the defense team...so far not seeing any jury 100% voting guilty here.

anyone know if there is even one person that saw this drink being spilled?

besides Bradley? lol

I am not surprised if it went pretty much unnoticed. I used to work in a nightclub. Lots of tiny things happen quickly, quietly, in the dark, in the noise and chaos of the music and lights...

If someone accidentally knocked their hand onto a drink, that spilled, and no one made a big deal AT THE TIME, ....who else would notice?

I don't agree that every witness has been taken down. Sure, the DT has landed a few punches. But many of their points have been peripheral. I do not think they have knocked away the main story put out by the state. IN fact, Baez has conceded to the main narrative---HERNANDEZ was RIGHT THERE, in the SUV, where the shots were fired from. The only real question is, who fired them, AH or Bradley?

So Baez is conceding that AH was in that SUV, as it searched for the victims, and drove up alongside and shot into the car, killing 2 people. Who cares if they were or were not pot users or dealers? Who cares if they were gang members? Baez is conceding that one of the 2 people in AH's SUV shot the victims.

If so, it sounds like AH is an accomplice to murder...imo...

AND, now that I think about it, I finally understand WHY they wanted the tattoos coming into evidence.

Baez is going to say that Bradley was the shooter, not AH.

If so, why would AH go right out and get that gun barrel tattoo, and the GOD FORGIVes tattoo? Why would he want those if he was not the shooter?

  • #572
i clearly think AH did the shooting...but am concerned about reasonable doubt...I am particularly troubled by so much of the investigation having issues...I mean one after another and the sweeper is the real wild card.

Yes, the sweeper is a wild card...literally. He apparently has a few issues himself and I would have serious concerns about what kind of witness he would be after watching his bizarre behavior (I'll keep it at that) when he was being questioned previously outside of the jury.

His tats 'told a story of his life'. Too bad this reporter won't have to testify due to her 'first amendment rights'...but that could change.

And it wasn't long after he AH was sentenced to life that he was spotted with a new 'Lifetime' tat on his neck.

well after watching the hearings that led up to the trial I now think a bigger wild card may be Alexander Bradley...state is calling him...during the hearing I learned about his not coming out with the "spilled drink" story until the next year? I don't think he is going to do much for the state and may help the defense. This case is NO slam dunk.

I will agree that this isn't a slam dunk and Bradley is going to be a challenge. AH also has a witness intimidation charge for shooting Bradley that will also come in, and Bradley will be sitting there with a visual of only one eye because of the shooting. Bradley has also testified in AH's last trial so he's had some experience in defense questioning, but he does have a history himself. He also has some plea agreement, so we don't know what will be allowed in. We'll have to wait and see how it goes, but for sure there will be 'many' sidebars and will be a testy cross.

he is not a bad witness...but cross will be the test!!

  • #579
BRADLEY up....

So far he looks and sounds very credible. But I am sure Baez is eager to tear him apart.
