MISSING PERSON ALERT: The Falmouth Police Department has issued a missing person alert and is subsequently seeking the public’s assistance in efforts to locate 44-year-old Adam Wacholder who is missing from 587 Gifford Street in Falmouth.

Wacholder suffers from mental health conditions and is described as a white male, 6’1” (height), 220 lbs. (weight), brown eyes, and black/white hair.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of this missing person is advised to contact the Falmouth Police Department at 774-255-4527.

The mother of a man missing from Falmouth, Massachusetts, is asking for help finding him, saying they are working every angle to bring him home.

His mother, Peggy Lynn, who lives in Harwich, said they first got wind that something was wrong on June 13, when Wacholder missed medical appointments. His keys, wallet, backpack and all of his medications were missing, but his phone had been left behind.

FALMOUTH, Mass. — A $1,000 reward if being offered for information about the location of a Falmouth man who went missing nearly a month ago, and his mother is appealing to the public to help find her son.

Adam Wacholder, 44, was last seen on June 13 and he has health issues, his mother, Peggy Lynn, told Boston 25′s Bob Ward.

“Adam has lived successfully with mental illness and a seizure disorder,” she said. “Adam has built a good life for himself in Falmouth working at Stop & Shop. Adam is 44 years. He is loved by his Mom and Dad and his sister Bonnie as well as the rest of his very large extended family, coworkers and friends and family. Adam is very gentle and kind soul.”

Police are searching around a park in Falmouth, Massachusetts, for a man who's been missing for about two months.

The new search Monday in and around Goodwill Park is in connection with the disappearance of Adam Wacholder, Falmouth police said, asking the public to keep away from the area. He was last seen June 13.

Police said in a statement they were searching the area not because they had information the 44-year-old was there but in "an effort to be thorough due to the facts that the areas being searched are in close proximity to his residence and to the last known location he was witnessed at."

The remains recovered Monday will be examined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Investigators did not give any details on the condition of the remains or say if they believe they are tied to the Wacholder case."
