I hope the judge addresses BW at sentencing. I would like to see him leveled. By a woman.

I can’t believe I forgot to tune in this morning and looks like I just barely missed it. I guess there will be videos posted later of the verdict being read (I want to see the reactions).

I’m so relieved they got it right!

DA: Brings to a conclusion a very sad chapter for Ana's family.

Trial done. Sentencing ahead. Appeal which IMO will go nowhere.

We've all come to care about Ana and the future she should have had, cut short by a petty man who could not let her move forward in life.

May her warmth and light carry forward in her children.

Imagine no reaction.

He didn't even flinch.

But then, he knows what he is. He knows what he did.

He reduced his wife -- a lovely, alive, whole human being into a couple of blood clots and a clump of hair, likely while three littles were upstairs.

Ana, he murdered you but he didn't diminish you.

He diminished himself alone.

A small, small man.

Will mommy speak on his behalf at sentencing?

I hope Ana's little boys have all the love and support surrounding them. Nothing can make up for their mother's absence, of course, but I hope they all grow up to live happy lives that she would have been proud of

I am greatly impressed that the police immediately treated Ana's disappearance as suspicious. I quite often hear of police in the disappearance of adults saying that adults can voluntarily go missing, and then missing collection of those vital early clues. They were right on it.

Brian - 'she left' 'you can ask our six year old son'
Police - 'mind if we look around the house?'

I bet the idea of divorce isn’t a bad option NOW, BW, is it?

It's too bad she wasn't reported until Jan. 4. Imagine what they might have found if they were called earlier.

Of course, the only reason they even found out on Jan. 4 is because her company was concerned about her and someone from work called police.

Fantastic news!! Great job, jurors
The judge told the jurors they're now free to read the news, social media, etc., and talk with family and friends. Imagine what the jurors are going to think once they get home and find out about things they didn't know, including his guilty pleas right before trial for misleading police and disposing of her body. They'll learn things that will help confirm they made the right call on his guilt.

Thankfully they already figured out he's a lying liar who lies.

Waiting on presser.

Hot mic. Oops.
Completely forgot about this one. Was his mother there? Didn’t she proclaim his innocence? Wasn’t fond of the wife?

Nope. No defense attorneys. No BW supporters.

Guess they didn't want to thank the jury.

I remember sleuthing this case from the very first.

Going over all the photos of the house, of their driveway and the streets in the area.. checking for bodies of water, looking for her possible routes to the airport. Then reading the shopping list and how he had his young son with him when shopping for items to dispose of her. Reading all about her and believing that she truly figured out he truth about him and had her escape plan established.

Over and over and over and I was firmly convinced then that she had been killed by her awful husband.

I never bought that she had run away. She had a place to run away to and she never turned up there at all.

It has been a long time and I am beyond THRILLED that this awful creature is now shunned and sent to prison

LWOP, indeed.

A unanimous verdict, to top it off. I am so grateful for the hard work of all LE, all her friends, all of you who didn't lose faith.

But perhaps, of the jury who clearly truly worked very hard in their charge to sit through all these days of testimony and spend their valuable time in giving justice for Ana.

I think someone wrote up thread that there's an automatic appeal.

+1

And despite their fine work they are still being vilified by disingenuous influencers and conspiracists. They ought to be recognised for cracking this case when Walshe had days to obstruct justice.

Good luck getting Freniere's factual findings on the ipad search overturned. She sewed that up nice and tight.

Thank heavens sanity prevailed.

EXCELLENT practical common sense outcome. I haven't been here on WS much this past year, but have followed this case and am so relieved to see it didn't spiral down into craziness. Brian, you lost a beautiful woman and wife, you idiot.

No worries, he still has his Mother.
