Judge now talking about Ana.... lovely words.

Ana was a bright light....

His female attorney is acting like she doesn’t want to be there

Ooooo bam.

Judge: I cannot reconcile the man referenced in Diana W's letter with this man.

Consecutive....

His actions prove he doesn't even care about his own children. His legacy to them was to murder their mother and dismember and hide what was left of her body. No care whatsoever how that would affect them. So sad.

BW didn't like this.

Judge brought up his fraud cm sentence.

BW's sentence for his fraud charges is supposed to run concurrent with the sentence in this case but is incorrectly listed as probation.

She wanted to make a record of it, alongside her sentence.

I expected no less from this judge
I am so impressed by this Judge - she operated her court the way a court should be operated. Fairly, intelligently, thoughtfully and by the laws of the state. She showed no pettiness or favoritism nor did she engage in sarcasm toward the lawyers. Her demeanor was very respectful to both sides

The sisters impact statement was heartbreaking. The poor Mom suffering from depression and chronic exhaustion. Remember Ana begged her to come to her in December via text messages and the Mom indicates she could not just get up and go she needed more notice etc.
I cannot imagine how she copes with the what if's.

So glad this monster is removed to jail forever. May his children heal with time and love and live long and happy lives.

Tipton looked thoroughly bored.

Loved Judge Freniere.

The "GOOD BYE" audio at the end was fitting

Now Ana’s family and friends can start the healing process. Which may not come for some.

Good bye, good riddance.

You are inhuman.

What you did to Ana, deplorable. That you could do it to your her children, there are no words.

I detected so many micro facial tells during his sentencing. He didn't like the words used against him at all. So slight were his movements but they were there.

Exactly.

Defiance. Anger.

I am impressed with the judge for her comment on the letter from DW. A precise dart.

Spoke volumes.

Defense is arguing that sentencing an individual years beyond their death is inhumane (i.e., the result of consecutive sentences).
IMO they wanted any sort of 'win' they could get.

I don't even think it was about BW at that point.

I totally agree with you . How you explain to three small children that daddy cut mommy up and threw her in the garbage. I pray that the statement that the judge has that one day on their adults, they’ll be able to read.

Door left open to profit on this murder I guess. Unless Mass law already prohibits that I guess.

never mind...

Are BW's parental rights now able to be relinquished so that the 3 boys may be able to be adopted by Ana's sister?
