I agree that I think he will take the stand. He is going to say he panicked and since he is father of the year he was so worried for his children. But how is he going to get past the part about not calling 911? If his defense is he didn't kill her why did he act like a killer? He knows the jury see's him as a liar at least in the fraud case. His recent guilty plea won't come up in this trial I assume but they know he was on home confinement and potentially was facing jail time. Is he going to say that his character has changed as a result of that case and that he would never hurt Anna. His searches say otherwise.
This jury isn't stupid. There are so many holes that the prosecution will make in his she died unexpectedly story it's going to make his head spin.
I originally thought his defense was so brilliant with the last minute guilty plea's but from what I saw with the opening and their theory of sudden unexplained death I don't think it's at all wrapped up for them.
Brian's Dad fled the marriage to Brian's mother when Brian was 8 or 9 ish and lived with a man on and off in
a house on Boston's south shore ( Hull) - until the Dad died while on vacation.
Here is an old article posted months ago about Brian's maneuvering with his Dad's estate. It also mentions that Brian was diagnosed as a sociopath. No surprise there.
Jury's are always a wild card - But there is no absolutely NO defense for Brian - it will be a quick guilty verdict IMO
Posting this CNN online November 29, 2025 (updated) article by Eric Levenson, Holly Yan, and Lauren del Valle entitled ‘Brian Walshe is on trial for the murder of his wife Ana. Here’s a timeline of the case’.
Will be interesting to see how the defense weaves events and any introduced evidence in this given timeline into their client’s apparent new narrative on how AW became deceased.
Of note from the article: circa January 1, 2023 it appears that BW used his oldest child’s cell phone during errands for items to help dispose of human remains and while seemingly disposing of evidence (BW appears to have left his phone at the residence during that time); the article indicates that circa December 26, 2022 BW apparently enlisted his mother to hire a private investigator to surveil AW in Washington, DC. (IIUC from that article he already suspected AW of having an affair.) Note some of the search terms BW used during events in this case. MOO
