So they stipulated that they're not alleging Brian wrote the ransom emails.

Hmm. Did he have help then?

Throwing his son under the bus, for iPad searches at 1:54 am...

Claiming astonishment....

Those searches, yowza.

Once arrested... photos of his hands. Cut on his thumb.

Wow, that's a lot of plastic sheeting, recovered from a trash bag in a nearby dumpster.

Ana Walshe's covid card.

Clothes.

I can't decide if I'm more sad or mad.

Is the woman in the recording BW's mother?

I was thinking it was his Attorney Miner? Didn't they testify she was present for this interview?

Looking at her belongings actually made me suck in my breath so hard. Her socks. Ugh.

That sounds more appropriate. Thank you.

Same.

It's sobering.

All these bank records -- to show she had resources but wasn't spending money after the day she went missing.

How did he think he'd get away with this? Like she's going to travel and not use her debit/credit cards?

Meanwhile he was at home drafting his "Response to friends" note. I liked your reply in that thread where you said "Why not just Google: how do I seem like I care?"

So much attitude from the defense attorney on cross.

I know defense attorneys are integral to our justice system, but I would not want this job, this day, with this defendant.

Defense keeps calling an IPad a mini-pad.

  • #1,194
BW didn't realize that his google searches were syncing to his son's IPad.

  • #1,195
Oh, he didn't do his searches on the child's iPad. They were merely synced to it.

What's the attorney's point? Brian "looked sad" when the detective brought up the Google searches on the son's iPad.

"Whoever did those searches"... OK, Defense Attorney.

Seeing the hole now.

Defense is asking the detective about it.

Saw it on the 5th, the tile was in the bottom drawer. Was not surprised by it so could have seen it on the 4th.

Detective said Brian said he walked around up there. Detective concluded the hole happened earlier and isn't relevant.

Where is he (the attorney) going with this? Besides nowhere fast?

What's this attorney's name?

How come Brian wasn't worried about Ana in the hands of kidnappers?
