Sorry bout that elepher50 - guess I was typing as you submitted your post.

Hmmmm...no drugs/poisons found in her body...
IMO, that means she wasn't poisoned, either on purpose or on accident.
Is there any evidence that she could have been suffocated? Sad to think, I know.
I still have no idea whether she was killed by someone or if her death was accidental.
They are still running more toxicology reports so something may be identified. If nothing comes out of the further toxicology testing, it sort of leaves suffocation doesn't it. It is really hard to wrap one's head around what may have happened and the circumstances around whatever happened. My opinion is that her death was not accidental.
They also mentioned on CNN Live that the authorities are leaning towards 'local' meaning someone knew the area to have placed her body there.
Very baffling that Baby Doe has not been identified yet.
So then we have absolutely no cause of death? That's frustrating. I mean, I know that won't help find out who she is but I don't know, I just wanted to know.
Yup. I mean I am no expert. But no drugs, no signs of drowning, no lacerations etc, no visible signs of strangulation. Kind of leaves suffocation or perhaps starvation/malnurishment? Perhaps she IS older but small because she was not eating. I do feel the person has to have some knowledge of the area.

Wouldn't the ME have noticed signs of malnourishment?
I'm no expert either, but I would think there would be signs she was being starved (ribs showing, sunken eyes, etc).
IMO.
Caleigh would be almost 6 and I believe her eyes were blue. While eyes do change color when babies, she was 2 so her eyes would have already changed.Someone on FB suggested Caleigh Harrison. She wasn't found and her mom suspected abduction, right? She would be the right age and in the right area if her mom was right...

I definitely understand why police believe she's local. Had any of you from outside of Massachusetts ever head of deer island before?
It's not very well known. Locals know about it and it's a beautiful place. but there are so many other places you think of before this one
BBM.
So....are we thinking she was put in the plastic bag and then suffocated inside it?
The report on CNN that she was placed in the location seems to indicate she was meant to be found. She wasn't exactly hidden. The body was found soon after the girl died, which I'm guessing was how it was planned by the person who left the bag.
??? What's going on?! Please, someone, come forward with information about this little girl.
