She will be the appellate judge as well.
Agree.I know the judge does this all the time but the jury doesn't. I didn't like the way she rushed through the instructions at such a rapid pace.

Huh?? No trial court judge reviews their own case on appeal. That would never happen.
Judge Sanders did take the plea from RB but that doesn't necessarily mean she will be the sentencing judge.

OH. I thought it was the first step in hearing an automatic appeal. Mah Bahd.
That's okay. You might be thinking of certain post-verdict motions that she would hear if there is a conviction but those are not considered appeals and her decisions would always be reviewable by either the Appeals Court or the Supreme Judicial Court.
