Yes, she might implode. Especially now that they can confront her with those stories the witness told. They can ask her if she spanked her baby for not telling her about the demons inside of her. UGH, that makes me sick and angry beyond belief, to think of what poor Bella went through.

I hope not. I'm so frustrated that she wasn't charged with Bella's murder. I don't think I've ever felt such hatred and disgust for a person in any of the cases I've followed. She doesn't deserve to breathe fresh air or feel the sun on her face. She belongs in a hole.

I thought it was kind of unfair for the judge to stop the cross examination when she did. They were only a few minutes past the usual stop time, and tomorrow there is no testimony.

The defense was making some very important headway.

I am all about Justice for Bella. :rose: But I am also for revealing the truth.

Bella's so called mother would spank her hard, and repeatedly ask her to tell the 'truth' about the demons inside of her. :cry:

Bella's Mom was there when MM would lock her in the closet, as punishment for ' the demons.'

Bella's Mom was back to using heroin, coke and pills and vodka, with her low life friends.


So I think it might be hard for the jury to accept the scenario here----that poor Mom had no idea what was happening and MM did this all by himself.

I don't know if there is any way to turn this around though.

He finally got him to admit that Bella was 'spanked by her Mom for not answering questions about the demons inside her.'

He said that Mom asked her many times about the demons inside her and she would be punished for not answering.

I know, me too. What does a toddler know about any of what they were screaming at her for? Poor sweet baby. She never stood a chance.

I worry about that too. Is the jury going to be angry that all of the blame/punishment is being put on one when BOTH of them are guilty as sin?

I'd be uncomfortable if I was a juror on that trial.

Jurors on Thursday will get an up close look at where Bella Bond's body was found on Deer Island, the Maxwell Street apartment in Boston, the area in South Boston where McCarthy allegedly dumped Bella's body, and the plumbing shop owned by McCarthy's father in Quincy, a suburb south of Boston. Police say the duffel bag that held Bella's body had weights inside that matched weights found in the Quincy shop.

Rachelle Bond, who pleaded guilty to the accessory after the fact charge and agreed to testify against McCarthy, is slated to take the stand on Friday.

I agree...We know she's not enduring untold torture now. She should never have been in such an environment, but at least, she is out of it now--and enjoying a happy, carefree life.
