jail is county prison is state. you can be sentenced to county time for one year or under, or be pre trial. sometimes ppl are in jail longer than a year if they are on trial and it takes that long (like RB herself) state prison is where you go whe you plea or are convicted of a felony and are sentenced to longer than a year.

there was an objection to Shapiro asking if she had been in jail OR prison - what's the difference between the 2?

in US the drunk tank would be in booking/intake. some ppl are cited out there. some ppl are housed in units to await court or bail or serve a county sentence of less than one year.

So sorry BostonMom...one of those tough days no matter how many years pass...unfortunately, I know as I also lost my son. I think cases like Bella's really have an affect on us, as we would have done anything, unlike RB who put her child in this situation and ultimately her death.

Sorry, I think when they told him that he couldn't come over because they were having "problems" was the end of April early May. I don't know when exactly he wanted to bring the milk over if that was the same time or not.

absolutely million $$ question...saw where Deaken said he could not win the case without giving RB a deal....but he really picked the wrong one. DA will lose this case and he can try it a million times he will lose.

Anybody know how much she could get if the judge doesn't follow the plea deal sentencing?

not sure on that but most legal minds say that it is very very unusual for the judge to do anything else but the recommended.

I am all caught up. I was behind a bit yesterday and now I have read all the courtroom tweets AND seen all the courtroom testimony with RB.

RB is one complete pathological LIAR. RB makes crap up as she goes along. IMHO RB killed that baby and has NO remorse for her actions.

RB will BLAME everyone around her. Maybe its because of her harden life. No idea. But I was DISGUSTED, ANGRY, PISSED OFF, MOODY and quite frankly MOSTLY SADDENED
about everything I have seen to date in the courtroom. Hearing BELLA's voice makes me want to cry just typing this out. OMG.

And yet RB chooses to call NO ONE after MM "killed" her. RB does not even tell "Joey". RB is so FULL OF GRIEF runs from the POLICE.

After all the LEAD UP to the Murder and Trial of BELLA all we have heard or read about was DEMONS DEMONS DEMONS.

But basically NO ONE has touched on that topic AT ALL.

DRUGS were more IMPORTANT to RB than BELLA. Every.single.day.

Dear Lord in Heaven, will this woman WALK ...... please no. Please, can't the STATE do something. People watching this Trial are disgusted knowing RB
will WALK.

Will there be SOMEONE that will give BELLA her date. Or will BELLA rest in peace with no date as to when she was murdered?

When RB was sworn into court to change her plea to guilty for her plea agreement in February, she had to state her name. She said her name was Rachelle 'Dee' Bond.

Interesting, when she was sworn in for this trial, she said her name was Rachelle Bond (omitting the Dee). Now, all this has come about 'D's' cell phone which she keeps saying stood for (MM's) dad. When Shapiro brings up Dee as her middle name & reference to the phone, she now claims she never uses Dee.

Yes, she is a demon and her face seriously looks reptilian. I have a feeling she never cried because it was her decision to kill her. RB could have injected MM in the neck with heroin and he blacked out so he wouldn't know what happened. She was a prostitute she could have traded drugs to a John to discard her body while MM was out on a drug binge.

I sure hope Shapiro brings up Sprinsky testimony where he testifies RB spanked Bella hard asking poor little Bella why she had Demons in her.

I'm "TRAUMATIZED" watching this trial that there are so many monsters amongst us in a human skin disguise.

Although in OC CA prisons are overcrowded and some inmates are serving their prison sentences 6 years and less in the county jails. I visited a friend in Theo Lacy Jail and two inmates in his pod had been there 5 yrs

I thought at one time she was telling people (Sprinsky for one) that Bella was with her sister. Maybe that's what she told MM too, and that's why he said that about DCF taking her? IDK...What a mess! At least Bella is out of it!

Cracks me up how RB keeps bringing up MM "welfare phone" like she is an upstanding tax paying citizen. What a hypocrite. I'm so glad I pay taxes to take care of these squatting drug addict criminals. Thank you Uncle Sam I'm glad my hard earned money goes to help people like this. Maybe if they got out and worked they wouldn't have time lying around all day doing drugs thinking about their next fix. Neglecting and killing their children. and studying demons. The children are used for welfare meal tickets.

I've only just got up to this part of the trial. We weren't shown the full set of texts before the trial, but we were told about one of them, it was just one that didn't explicitly say that MM wanted RB to keep quiet lest DSS take her, so we had a bit of a debate over whether he meant keep quiet or DSS will take her OR keep quiet lest DSS look into Bella's wellbeing and when RB can't produce Bella the DSS figure out Bella's dead.

Your question... No, Sprinsky said he was told that Bella was with someone, I think it was RB's sister.

One of the other witnesses (Joe McCarthy Jr???) said he was told that Bella was with her bio dad.

Bio dad, Joe Amoroso was told (by RB) that Bella was on Cape something with her godparents(?)

It was never made clear during his testimony why Sprinsky then believed that by RB being off drugs that she could then "get Bella back" .... It was also unclear if he thought that would be from RB's sister or from DSS (maybe he didn't know if Bella was with RB's sister due to an informal arrangement or an official arrangement, only that he had assumed the arrangement was due to RB's ongoing drug use and therefore being clean would help her get Bella back.
