Mitchell was last seen in St. Louis, Missouri on August 27, 2000, but the last time she had contact with anyone was six months later, on February 5, 2001. She has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case, but investigators believe she isn't missing voluntarily.

I’m thinking DNA would better rule her out over a perhaps misremembered contact. Unless they physically saw her in 2001. Please clarify if family saw her in 2001.

I think this jane Doe could be on the younger side judging no the picture of her I wanna say 17-22 She looks like she would be around that age

Bumping, I currently work in Chelsea so this case has been on my mind.

Linda Merritt seems like a fairly close possibility to me. She was last seen in Springfield in 1997, but might have been heading to the Chelsea/North Shore area and had an overbite. She's a little older than this Doe is estimated to be and the timeline is off, but if Linda had relocated that could be easily explained.
