SPD is seeking your help to locate 11 year old Charlotte Moccia. She was last seen on Lafayette Street around 1:30pm. She was returning home from Hampden Charter School. This is being treated as a possible abduction.

A blue or dark Honda with dark tinted windows is believed to be involved. If you have any information please call 9-1-1 or Text a Tip anonymously. An Amber Alert has been issued.

State police said she was forced into a car at 1:26 p.m., not long after she got off her school bus.

According to state police, investigators think a white or Hispanic male was walking behind Charlotte and forced her into the back of an older model, dark blue or black Honda, possibly a Civic, which may have had a white or light-skinned Hispanic female driver.

FROM MSP: Preliminary investigation suggests a white or Hispanic man was walking behind CHARLOTTE as she got off the bus & forced her into a dark Honda, with an unknown plate. Investigation indicates that the car was being operated by a white or light-skinned Hispanic female.

UPDATE - Further investigation indicates the suspect who forced CHARLOTTE MOCCIA into the car was a white or Hispanic male, not a black male. Further investigation also reveals that the car has distinctive aftermarket rims and a moonroof. Please call 911 if seen.

The car also has what some media stations are reporting as illegal tint as well.

Some car shop, may have records of the car coming in for the tint job and/or aftermarket rims.

If her stats are correct, she’s a teeny little thing! My 10.5yo niece is about the same size and is a good head or more shorter than her classmates and looks much younger, more like a 7yo, than 11. Something to keep in mind!
