I think the tweeter wrote that wrong. Chism is seen on the video walking with the bloody gloves on, then he goes outside by the bushes and changes clothes and removes the gloves. It is later that he is seen again in the video on the second floor, and he has a different shirt on.

I think it was very clever of the prosecutor in the very beginning to say the arrows on the videos correlated to what shirt he had on. It emphasize up front that he changed clothing throughout this whole thing.

Lesson learned through so many cases we have seen. If you are told your conversation is being recorded make sure you get to approve and request to approve any documentation of such recording if it is written down.

I think you misunderstood (although a good point!) - this would have been a written statement that the student herself wrote down for police. The writing can't be a summary the police made of speaking to her, since she didn't create that writing. You can only refresh a witness's recollection with their own writings.

Interesting that the defense wants to stress that the only reason his prints were in the database were because of this case. It almost makes me paradoxically wonder why this emphasis on "no record" and if the defense is hiding behind some protection relating to his record that is afforded to him as a result of his juvenile status.

His fingerprints were only on file as a result of the arrest related to this crime. His defense attorney was establishing that he was not already in "the database" because of a prior crime.

He was arrested after the police found the bloody box cutter in his pocket, when he told police the blood was from "the girl".

Yes of course I was speculating. Should have made that clear. Sorry.

I just don't see how she could have been alive for much more than a few minutes after he cut her throat in the bathroom. That's what I based my assumption on.

ETA: the speculation of 'blood 'gushing' out was based on the thought that blood had pooled in her abdomen after he rammed the stick in and destroyed organs. That pool of blood was then released and gushed out due to gravity. Sorry to be graphic

Oh my goodness... he was rolling the recycling bin down the hall wearing a mask? WTH? What good was the mask going to do if he ran into someone? Oh, nothing suspicious here... just a regular, average guy, walking around in a mask, rolling this heavy bin down the hall. Carry on.

Good point perhaps... I was thinking deposition but also witnessed statements used against them as I saw in Caylee trial . I was going to correct my statement above but you already quoted it so I will correct it here what I meant.
