Recruiter unravelling maybe?

As with any case all is pointing to Occam's razor with this unfortunately.

IMO...he's a Marine with a huge ego....I don't think he's unraveling at all. Drank too much and got into some trouble. NCIS took the opportunity to pack him away so they could do damage control if it comes to that. Just my opinion....

This reminds me of the Teresa Lockhart case. Her husband did quite the unraveling soon after she went missing! Most of his charges were alcohol related, as well.

Also the Claudine Gifford case. Todd Kessler started messing up after she went missing.
Getting trashed at bars, while making derogatory comments about Claudine, also DUI.

The military may also charge you with other crimes related to the incident (disorderly conduct, for example) or could bring DUI charges against you after the conclusion of your civilian case."

The charges Lipka faces include assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of ammunition and are not related to Brancato's disappearance.

The charges stem from an encounter with a delivery person in September 2017 and a search warrant executed at his home sometime after that encounter, prosecutors said.

The charges are not related to the disappearance of 21-year-old Joseph Brancato, who has been missing since November.

They keep updating the article (I hate when they do that). He’s made the court appearance, they set bail at $10,000 on the unrelated case, but now they’re reporting that Lipka has officially been named a ‘person of interest’ in Brancato’s disappearance.

The remains were found Wednesday afternoon on the southbound side of the highway just south of the Interstate 95/93 split in Canton.

State Police are investigating the matter. The body is expected to undergo an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Boston as soon as Thursday.

A motorist who had stopped to help another driver spotted human remains off Interstate 95 in Canton today, officials report.

The discovery in the southbound lane near the 95/93 interchange has police investigating, with the Norfolk District Attorney's Office saying "the remains will be removed to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Boston for autopsy – likely to be conducted tomorrow."


The remains were spotted "a modest distance off the roadway," officials added.

Yeah, I saw this on the news. It's within 10 miles of his last known location, and with it being right off the highway, makes sense as a possible dumping ground. We'll know more after the autopsy tomorrow.
