Well, this guy is really a sick individual.

Does his trial photo remind anyone else of Jeffry Dahlmer.

I agree with those of you that have said that he couldn't have been much of a student. A med student barely has time to sleep, let alone cruise Craig's List.

Let alone cruise Craigslist...and find time to meet women off of there!

This article (about the suspect's high school years) included this random paragraph:

"Markoff exhibited bizarre behavior while in a Hub jail cell after his arrest, at one point shoving wads of toilet paper down his pants. Police asked him what he was doing and he told them he was keeping the tissue clean in case he had to use it later, a source said."

Any sleuths here have any idea what this behavior/action might be indicative of?

Hey, I used to live in Nashvegas. I miss the warm southern summer nights. I love the dry climate and sunny weather here, but the nights are always colddddd.

I hope the fiancee isn't another Karla. On one hand, I feel for the girl, if she truly is an innocent victim, but, her comments about a cop setting this up to make money seem bizarre at best. I would think an innocent victim would just express shock or shut up. Interesting to see what develops.

IMO he arranged to meet them late...after midnight if I heard correctly. You figure these girls would not get a room for one appointment. I'm sure they do their "services" for the day there. He made sure he was close to the last, if not the last appt.

Phillip's personality sounds remarkably like the Porco kid who murdered his father and mutilated his Mom. All American boy,arrogant,relatives all in disbelief.
He had money issues too.
The sociopath personality never ceases to amaze me.

When he smiles he does look very arrogant and cocky!! When he looked more serious in court from a side view he looks more like Jeffrey Dahmer IMO.

If he has any morals or class at all, I hope he tells his girlfriend he's guilty so she can start dealing and moving on. If he continues to plead with her that he's innocent, she'll probably stick by him.


She surely knew about his gambling habits. Wonder why she'd want to marry him knowing that.

OMGoodness. I thought the same thing. I was gonna post the same thought when I read yours. Something about the structure of his face and the eyes (seems like they are far, far away..so did Dahmer) and he looks arrogant. His breathing in the close up shots of him in court....you can see its rapid. He's really squirming inside, but is hiding it with that look.

I agree. There's been no evidence that he was either spoiled or rich. He was a med student - not even a job, as I recall.
