On cross, Lally asks Dr. Sheridan if he knew: swabs from JO's clothing came back negative for dog DNA. Tiny pieces of tail light were found in his clothes. His DNA a match for DNA on tail light. Sheridan says no, he wasn't aware of any of this.

Nope! She is despretaly looking for a point of law to strike his evidence. MOO
That's my gut feeling based on past behaviour and the way Dr Russell was treated.

Lally is questioning Sheridan about evidence he didn’t review or know about.
Lally asking about a compression abrasions.
Asking if most autopsies were people being struck from the front.
Doctor says he examined several children who were backed into, adds before the cameras.

I'm really hoping defense will get that in on redirect that the ME and investigators were remiss in not swabbing the wounds. If Dr Sheridan can testify that in his autopsies the wounds would have been swabbed. jmo

Sheridan says most of the motor vehicles collisions he has reviewed were front-end collisions. Agrees that could affect whether there are lower-body injuries.

Lally takes the opportunity to ask if he knew Karen had backup cameras.
-yes
Lally trying establish that most of his experience was pedestrians hit in the front, except for children who have a lower center of gravity.
Did you have any 6’2’ men who were sideswiped?

-not that I remember
The doctor is detailing injuries that could happen.
The expressive fidgety juror is furrowing her brow.
Lally asks if he knew OKeefe had a glsss?
-I don’t know

This man will NOT say there wouldn't be bruising. He clearly states several times that there should/would be bruising.

I'll always remember it fondly in it's first incarnation as 'the 'apparent hair'
The little hair that could.
Bless it <3

Lally asks if Sheridan has ever seen a sideswipe, rear-impact collision. He says he can't remember such as case.

Lally points out that O'Keefe had bruising on his right hand, the same hand he was seen holding the cocktail glass at the bar. Sheridan says he doesn't remember hearing about pieces of cocktail glass found with O'Keefe's DNA.

Lally asks if Dr. Sheridan has ever done on autopsy on an adult victim who was sideswiped by the back side of a vehicle. He can't remember any off the top of his head, he says.

Sheridan persists in his opinion, says he does not believe it's possible that this was a motor vehicle collision.

Lally asks if frozen ground could cause the blunt force trauma. Sheridan answers "a thin layer of ice" could not make that much difference.
