officers at 34 Fairview Road.
• Canton PD officers used personal phones to photograph and video the evidence collection at 34
Fairview Road. Pursuant to Canton PD policy, a digital camera or laptop computer should have been
used to photograph the crime scene.
• Canton PD first officer on the scene should have photographed John O’Keefe where he was found
before he was moved by fire rescue to the ambulance.

What were you hoping to have seen?

Tire tracks beneath the snow, all mushed up with everyone's footprints, in the efforts to save John's life?

How about as the audit says, where was the body found, in what condition, what condition were his clothes in, exactly how far off of the road was he found. Why were the clothes and other evidence not secured properly? Why was there no chain of custody? The photos should have been taken and documented as a crime scene.

I want to say something in here about TurtleBoy. He may not be perfect, but he brought eyes to this case. In a way, I do compare him to Nate Eaton and Justin Lum with the Daybell case. If they hadn't taken the time to really chase down the facts, the rest of the media would have been blind to how convoluted and crazy that story is!! I say the same thing about TB. If he hadn't taken an interest, I don't think people would have seen how much corruption there is in this case.

I believe they prioritised trying to save John's life, securing an airway, rather than wasting minutes on photographing his body and position. His clothes were cut off him in the ambulance, where they had better lighting, to inspect him for further injuries. They deemed the best chance of saving his life would be to immediately stretcher him, remove him from the snow, warm him up, and transfer him to the hospital where they had better resources. JMO

This trial is not about how bad the cops are in Boston.
The entire population can hold a torch and pitchfork parade against the police once this trial is over if they want.

One former state police trooper, Proctor, fired. One recently at the time, retired Boston police, lawn on where J.O'K, was current Boston Police, was found ON. The rest involved and were under investigation and somewhat 'punished' at this time are Canton PD. Worth a look into Albert's time while BPD. Violent events against a firefighter for one. SO, not the BPD as a whole, not even close.

I disagree. Self investigation is not true oversight. IMO, the fact that the FBI even got involved in the first place says that there were some serious missteps in the investigation. You could argue that mistakes were just that, or that there is a conspiracy. However, even the report you posted acknowledged failures in evidence collection, as well as chain of custody.

If the state truly wanted to allow fairness, they would open themselves up for independent review.

As always, all IMO unless substantiated by source.

I haven't watched the documentary yet but don't have high hopes that it will tell me anything I didn't know from watching the trial. I learned the hard way with the Paradise Lost documentaries that all documentaries have a agenda and none are without bias. No one should rely solely on a documentary for their evidence and impressions in my opinion.

There are some here that are relying on that. They did not watch the trial and questioning of McCabe and Albert, Higgins, their children, adult children. It is a show., a skimming of an event, dramatic. Not viable really to comment. Not a simple event, not that many people at all, just the fam and a few friends of the family. ALL very tight or were. Proctor and wife were one, wonder if now.

Nagel testified all partiers were in the kitchen and dining room. All testified during the 1st trial that JOK didn't come in the house.

Right, they didn't see him from where they were. You have to know and see the layout of the house, entrance straight to basement. REALLY need to research.
