@HarmonyE. you are local to this area, correct?

It’s a high profile case BECAUSE the missteps were so egregious and suspicious that it caught national attention. If as you claim, the errors noted in the audit are ‘common’, they wouldn’t trigger audits, parallel federal investigations, and public outrage. Saying ‘this happens everywhere’ is, if anything, not a defense of the police, but an indictment of systemic incompetence/sloppiness/corruption. And in this case, it was so sloppy and blatant that it caught the nations attention.

All MOO
Nah, only the defense is making those claims

Nah, only the defense is making those claims

Then why did they do an audit? Because a defense lawyer made a statement? LOL

I don't think that dog hidden, alive hidden. They have got away so far under the downlow of the digging up the basement floor/carpet of course and having the connection with buddy Proctor, that enabled them to not be charged with anything, as NO investigation at that time inside of the house where JOK was on their lawn. ALL of this is in the AUDIT, needs to be read carefully for some.
So 200K gets you an audit??

Because every police department doesn’t have high profile - cases

IMO
The FBI has to be 'invited' to join an investigation. So some agency asked them to join the investigation

Connections get you an audit IMO

So close! Connections get you cop friends that don't come into a fellow cop's house when a body is on their lawn and they are up in bed too busy to be bothered. JMO

You are again asking for evidence that never had a chance to be collected because they didn’t search the house nor immediately interview people. How are you so certain they wouldn’t have found anything? Sure, it’s normal to randomly hide your dog states away.
The dog was not hidden, she was rehomed.
Had the defense wanted to evaluate or examine her, the could have. They chose not to.

There was not probable cause to search the house. I said this long before the audit came to the same conclusion

Actually, they wanted to but they wouldn't make her available.

@Linda7NJ I am again asking for a link to the statement you made that ARRCA didn't have all the variables and that the CW did.

So Karen Read somehow had enough power to force an audit, but not enough power to stop herself from being charged in the first place? That makes zero sense.

The system is corrupt, but only in Karen Reads favor?

That’s quite the narrative. I find it unbelievable.

IMO
I hope that with this trial if the judge does her job instructing the jury you will have to believe it.

EEESH, Invited known person to homeowner on his lawn. Proctor fired due to saying, ohhhhh KR all hysterical here asking, maybe, did I hit him> what happened? JM happy to say, had the opportunity to say, SHE SAID SHE HIT HIM. Nice police detective work Proctor who is fired due to some of exactly this behavior. Sigh. Take as the solid proof and truth and heeeeeere we are and there HE is.. sad laugh.

Simply untrue.

The reason there’s an audit and FBI investigation isn’t because the defense said something was wrong. It’s because there was actual evidence of mishandling that needed to be reviewed. Defense attorneys claim misconduct all the time. It doesn’t automatically trigger an investigation.

We’re not taking about minor clerical errors. We’re talking about missing and altered evidence, questionable timelines, conflicts of interest, and undisclosed relationships between investigators and witnesses at 34 Fairview.

If this level of scrutiny were normal, we would see audits and FBI investigations in every murder case. We don’t. That’s the point.

As always all MOO unless substantiated by source.

This is the very, very important point. CPD and Proctor and others found at fault in this. He is fired from the STATE POLICE OF MA. Other investigations of awfulness are now being scrutinized due to his purposeful avoiding a proper investigation and behavior upon attending the scene of J.O'K.

Hence, the audit that was strongly against Proctor.. He never went into the house JOK was found laying on the lawn of. He never went in and questioned the Albert homeowner, his friend, he never gathered the people standing around and brought to police station to be interviewed, recorded. He never investigated as a professional criminal investigator at all. He is fired, all for his neighbor buddies. The text from a person's mom was at trial, thanks, I'll give you a gift.. Lets never forget that and why, why???
Absolutely! Why offer a gift to someone just for doing their job? And the person offering the gift is related to the homeowners who he discounted being involved without even interviewing or investigating their home. And now he's fired! I bet Proctor wishes this case had never been assigned to him now but at the time, he was the Big Shot Investigator shooting off his foul mouth.
