Like the witness who claimed she said it 3 no now it's changed to 4 times right next to a cop when the video shows the cop having zero reaction?
I remember reading somewhere that it was later in the day when JM called and/or went to one of her police buddies and said she "remembered" that KR said "I did it"?
Like an afterthought.

IF an officer would have heard that or even an EMT....Karen would have immediately been taken to headquarters!

I disagree. An emt would have handled the - they, them, or theirs on the emt side of emt crap.
Just a person trying to get they credits. Or trying to save a soul or take word back to your mamma.
The other side of this case, (call it the flip side) is , . your co workers will line 50 bottles on the side of the road an ask everyone over 21 who the heck drank em. IMO

Hi all! It has been a long time since I last posted! Of course ... this trial has sucked me in LOL It's good to see a lot of familiar 'faces' in here! 😁

I did watch a lot of, but not all of, the first trial last year. I think I started watching after all the partygoers testified last year, so although I read about it and probably went back and watched bits and pieces, I didn't realize just how connected they all were, and some of the shady stuff I missed last year (connections, phones being destroyed, the inconsitencies, etc.)

I did see how terrible the CW did last year and all the 'surprises' like the inverted carport video, KR's car bumping JOK's car in the driveway, LE testimony, etc. It does seem somewhat unfair that they get a do-over.

I have a lot of questions in this case but I watched the ARCCA testimony last year, saw the video of the bump in the driveway that most likely cracked her tail light, and the scratches/bites (thank you to whoever posted the video of testimony in the last thread, I had wondered about this clothes!) I just cannot believe she backed up and hit him.

I doubt we will ever know the truth.

Contrary to evidence from multiple witnesses and from Karen's admissions that she said it in interviews?

I can't really understand why AJ seems to want to drive this nail in so deep.

Multiple witnesses testified to it. His client confirms she said it on video. AJ cannot testify as to how she meant it.

End of the day the defendant will need to take the stand if she wants to dispute how the witnesses interpreted it.

He's lost me, if I'm a juror. Going in like he does on these neutral paramedic witnesses. Katie McLaughlin yesterday wasn't ruffled, but I thought AJ made himself look foolish, hammering on about Karen not acting hysterically that morning, and trying to create a loyalty and dishonesty that just wasn't there, IMO. Everyone knows the difference between close friends and knowing someone in a wider friendship circle.

These poor witnesses having to put up with online harassment and accusations just for being dragged into Karen's world. IMO. It's never okay to publicly write that people (not the accused) are liars, not knowing how that affects a person's personal life.

She was a great witness for Jen McCabe too, trying to stop Karen from incriminating herself that morning.

All IMO

More damaging testimony in court yesterday. Firefighter Paramedic KM puts great perspective on a simple case. She corroborates JM's testimony also. Neither are lying to cover-up a grand conspiracy to frame KR. They're just telling what they heard.

It's very telling to me KR wasn't heard saying, OMG what happened to him, what happened!? Ask those people in the house, what happened, what happened!? Nope, "I hit him, I hit him, I hit him, I hit him". Very telling...a simple case. AJMO

Re-watching Gallagher on you tube. My chin hit the floor with his answer to AJ's question: Does Canton PD maintain something called evidence logs?
Gallagher: I don’t know the answer to that. I’m not the evidence officer.

Ok....but he answered/testified as a supervisor one of his duties is to oversee evidence/logs.

What?? 😡

Cop didn't hear her, the firefighter paramedic did because she was the one asking and getting an answer from KR, in conversation with KR, not the cop. Is this firefighter paramedic now also in on the monumental conspiracy to frame KR?

Not so strange IMO, he wasn't the evidence officer. He shouldn't micromanage every one's job. He's informed of their jobs by them so he can, as a supervisor oversee them, not do their job FOR them, MO. Let the evidence officer testify to the evidence logs. It's called passing to buck to the person best able to testify about their particular duties. For accuracy it seems the logical way of not mudding up testimony and possible confusing the jury. AJMO

These so-called cops ,who are hired to protect and serve the public with our hard-earned money, are seemingly more cocky this time around, now that there is no longer an investigation by the FBI I suspect. They are acting like they're above the law. Gallagher presented as over confident, unapologetic and completely disinterested in what occurred. Why? Because he was the supervisor and overseer. He took no notes (or photos) because it wasn't his job. He's retired now too. He simply didn't care to do a proper job. Even him going to the wrong location (Meadows) showed his lack of urgency that morning. He didn't even get on scene until 1 hour after the 9-1-1 call was made, and yet he goes on to say "time was of the essence" so he didn't take notes or send cops back to get blood sample containers that might have taken 15 minutes.
I can't believe there was no photo of where the body was laying. He guessed at it for god's sake! Incompetent as a leader to that team. He simply did not care about doing a proper job.

Could they not have pounded on doors and asked for freezer baggies or something that you could seal, instead of solo cups with no lids? This is assuming they couldn't get to another police station, whether state or local, to get proper evidence bags? The leaf blower would have had debris on it so I think either way, the blood samples would have been contaminated.

What AJ is really trying to discredit is SERT finding and documenting the tail light recovery later on. The recovery of tail light from the scene that day, plus the later discovery of fragments in John's shirt is game over.

So in addition to the fight, and Jen's spontaneous coverup, he needs you to believe that was staged by yet more officers.

As that third leg of the conspiracy is also completely unbelievable, I think he seeks to just make it all untrustworthy so jurors might throw their arms in the air. But at the end of the day, nothing about any solo cups dislodges the discovery of tail light at the scene same day.

I think the blood samples are the least of the contamination worries.
Freezer bags really would have not been okay at all either ,but it would have looked better when trying to play dumb for a jury, who probably does not know any better.

I find it really odd that the EMS people did not have the evidence collection kits on hand as part of the sex assault response team or S.A.N.E nurses, Which should be addressed locally there . FWIW,moo ,
I also find it odd the officers did not have the kits either ,but in this case it kinda didnt make me blink,

She was confessing to murder but no one wrote any of it down or mentioned it in their reports, it wasn’t captured on the dashcam at the scene and almost every single one of the cw’s witnesses have been impeached for lying.

He wasn’t hit by a car.

Gallagher: “To clear the area. Controlled. Slowly, so any potential evidence of what happened to Mr. O’Keefe wouldn’t be lost.”

1. Thats Officer O'Keefe to you not Mr. O'Keefe. How rude.
2. He misses 45+ pieces of bright red taillight.
3.....or they weren’t there to begin wirh. There’s no evidence that they were there before LE had her vehicle in their custody.

They could have been in the bottom of the shop and save bag the entire time. Who knows.

There is evidence they were there. SERT recovered them from under the snow as we've discussed many times. The evidence was photographed in situ.

Your theory requires Proctor to take the Lexus to the sally port, break out pieces, then bring them down and plant them under the noses of the SERT team who are already onsite.

How could they have been? The vehicle was at Karen's parents.

Unless the theory is that Jen and Kerry took the pieces out of the driveway. I half have the impression that is AJs new theory.
