I think watching the whole video from the bar several times, gives clues.

John did not seem to want to go to BA's, but then CA grabbed BH hard....then BH waved at John to come. And then JenMc trying to separate John from Karen, and CA the last to leave. Shenanigans. Seemed something was planned. IMO.

Over 43 tail light fragments were definitely recovered by someone not Trooper Proctor. Absolutely.

The timing and discovery are suspicious. It wasn't found immediately. Gallagher found clear glass but didn't find red reflective tail light? I'm not believing they were there at the time JOK's body was found.

The impounding of Karen's car included no photos to document the tail light. Her vehicle was stored in the sally port unsecured, and again, no photos to document it's condition.

Also, not a single person coming or going that night noticed 40+ pieces of reflective tail light on the ground. Snow wasn't a factor at 12:32am so they weren't hidden.

I find the tail light pieces evidence that supports a false narrative. They were planted to convict KR of a crime she didn't commit, IMO.

How and when were they planted then?

I am genuinely curious how the timing works in your view. As the Lexus is at Karen's parents until late in the afternoon, it suggests to me any staging would need to use pieces taken from John's driveway that morning.

I would think a company could be provided factual information from a specific case, but not be told it was factual info from a specific case. So they could have actual data from this case and make a determination based on that and provide it to the FBI. I would think the defense would find out about it during discovery because it was done for this case.

Wait.. wasn't she taken to the hospital from the scene? Her car would have been at John's house at that time, no?
Who would have been first to get to John's house? Friends? Familly?

I did watch much of the first trial but didn't follow along good enough to remember all the times/details.

The link you posted earlier with the collection of the tail light pieces, I listened to it and found it interesting that the scene was left unsecured from 7:50am until about 5pm.

Old news. A voir dire was held and ARCCA was allowed to testify.

You know how John investigated sex crimes for the Boston PD? Part of me wonders if he was just beginning to suspect someone like BH or BA of something and was going to start an investigation (TOTALLY hypothetical). This would speak to motive.

Though I also could believe the motive of drunken hyper-aggressive cops who want to fight a man over Karen or the issues with Colin or what-have-you.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Right or wrong as this is a discussion board and it is not just for testimony. I believe KR is guilty of motor vehicle manslaughter but I am not sure there is enough evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.

The FBI initiated the study and furnished the parameters defined as a set of facts or a fixed limit that establishes or limits how something can or must happen or be done that they, the FBI wanted to be proven or rejected. Once the results of the FBI initiated study were complete, the results were then offered to both the CW and the defense to use as evidence in their case if they chose to.
