Bukhenik's answers to the CW are so completely different from his responses to Jackson and Alessi... So much more forthcoming. I imagine that the jury notices that as well.

I think I was wondering if it was like 'there's this woman saying she hit this guy' and the experts were like 'nope, she can say that all day but it is impossible'.

That is, they came to their conclusion based solely on the science and were not swayed by a supposed 'confession'.
They had no idea who the victim or KR were. It was a blind experiment/ study based on scientific parameters. There was absolutely no chance of bias. Their findings were pure. This is all in the direct examinations and was further solidified via Lally's woeful crosses. Moo

I am genuinely curious what the BH theory is?

So he went to his work? Looked at his phone? What is this proof of?

You’re conveniently ignoring his lying

It amazes me the number of people who are fine with cops openly telling lies. If someone you love were on trial would you still defend this behavior?

Perjury :D
IMO.

@JHall7news

DONE FOR THE DAY....Karen Read had a no comment today. Yannetti says that's "at the advice of counsel." Maybe she is done talking to the media? Testimony continues in the morning.

Exactly! If JOK was my relative I’d be disgusted.

What, does JBC have a hot date? Interrupting and pushing AJ to finish - saying they normally break at 4. They start at 10, have a morning break, a lunch break, a dozen side bahs and then stop at 4. Nice work ethic - worse than bankers hours.
IMO its all about getting them out of by 4pm - before the traffic picks up on the highways
The last trial all the juriors met at X parking lot and then they are brought to and from the courthouse together. I assume the same type of procedure at this trial ? They are all from Norfolk County which is pretty spread out and has approx 750k pop/ a quick google will give you a map and the stats

They should definately call Higgins imo.
I think they should call pretty much every civilian witness that the CW called last time but didn't this time, and introduce as much evidence that the CW did last time but chose not to this time.

I think in trial 1 Lally was going for a strategy that fits a common refrain from the Karen-haters which is "they can't all be lying and only Karen(*) is telling the truth." Prioritising quantity over quality, and hoping that quantity would provide a quality in and of itself. Putting people like Brian A, Brian H and (then) Trooper Proctor on the stand. Experienced emergency responders who have given evidence in a trial setting many times before and would be very credible to a jury. Except when they weren't, and we instead got a cavalcade of butt-dials, phones destroyed, beloved pets "rehomed" in suspicious circumstances, guns and badges left in cars after boozy benders and searches for nudes while entrusted to search a suspect's phone!

JMO

(*) and Lucky Loughran I guess but shhhh

They said the study was blind so they did not have any info on the case other than the specific data the FBI provided. They didn't know which case, who was accused, or any of the details like that.

That’s admirable that they are trying to make the commute easier for the jury. However, Judge C, citing being ahead of schedule, has let the jury go early at least twice since trial began, in the last 2 weeks. Why not continue testimony and wait until the trial is coming to a close before cutting hours? She acts as if she cannot wait to get out of there. That and her audible sighing and blatant bias against the defense is becoming tiresome to watch.
And, I admit I enjoyed her in T1.

How’d he do that?

O'Hara and other SERT team begin arriving on site
16:54

SERT Commence Search
17:20

Tow Truck arrives at Sallyport with Lexus
17.35pm approx. (I think the on X, AJs exhibit said 17.37.18)

First Pieces found
17:45

So the D Sallyport theory requires YB to now be involved, and Proctor would have less than 10 mins to break out the pieces in front of Yurij and others, then quickly drive to 34F, and then plant the pieces in front of all 7 SERT team members, and half a dozen other officers on site, mere seconds before they find them.

I don't think this is credible - so I wonder if AJ will go with someone else doing it earlier in the day. How else can it work now?

My opinion based on trial testimony and exhibits.

Every time she sighs, acts bored by the defense, cuts them short, cuts them off, inserts herself into the questioning, she is communicating her negative message /impression of the defense to the jury. This is simply NOT OK. This is not something a judge should be doing. Moo

Can you please explain to me how cops keep getting caught in lies if they have nothing to hide? What reason explains all the lies?

I wasn't ignoring anything.

I was asking what is the theory? I wasn't sure what AJ is actually suggesting BH was up to.

How a judge thinks this behavior reflects well on the 'justice' system is absolutely beyond me.

What on earth compels her?

Shameless.

I don't see where there is any lie in my post.

The defence requires staging, so I think AJ will have to show some kind of workable timeline to create the opportunity for it. According to AJ himself, the Lexus does not arrive at the Sallyport until less than 10 mins before the pieces are found at 34F ...
