On some level the Honorable Judge Beverly Cannone knows this trial is a huge waste of time and taxpayer money.

That said, I am shocked this is how a judge conducts herself.

It's very ugly.
IMO humans have the ability to pick up on micro expressions and micro aggressions. Even things like an eye roll or a sigh, or a tone of thinly veiled frustration.

Judge Cannone is extremely dismissive/passive agressive with the defense, and IMO even leans towards being openly contemptuous sometimes. I can’t help but feel a jury could be influenced if the judge is acting like she the defense is wasting her time.

He seems not to know how to keep his arrogantly foul mouth shut.
He seems to direct his foul mouth at women. I can't imagine having a person like this as my father or husband. Very misogynist.

I heard versions like this. After I went looking but I have only been aware of this since she came up as a possible witness.
Yes, KR talked about the incident briefly, in the doc. Then, the younger sister on the Aruba trip talked about it during her testimony in T1. The dates of the texts were from BH T1 testimony. There are plenty of texts and voicemails that paint the defendant as volatile, insecure and obsessive.

His wife blames Karen for all of his problems right now.

Why can't he ask that question? Why can't he have a side bar? Cannone is so unbelievably biased towards the CW
I agree! She is very unprofessional-‘I’ll let him have this one’ … how about OVERRULED ? And on what basis?

Yes, insecure, but not murderous....

Dr. Scordi-Bello said that John’s vitreous humor fluid had a BAC of .28g/dL. That’s equivalent to a .28 BAC - extremely intoxicated. Maybe that’s why Karen wanted to drive. That is like alcohol poisoning levels.

No grass in JOK's head wound it sounds like or stones, rock like pieces. Great examination by Alessi. Just that it all has to, for some reason, go round and round about simple questions, or sustained. IMO.

So are a lot of other people. Tell her stand in line with the other burn KR people.

He did tell her in a text to her earlier on that he wanted her to be his driver that night when going out.

Wild, considering Karen didn’t make her husband insert himself into a homicide investigation, withhold texts, or end up under internal affairs scrutiny…

If someone regularly drinks and builds up a tolerance (?), can they have a high level but not necessarily be as drunk as someone who usually doesn’t drink but has that level?

He's not done yet.

Yes, and I definitely am not blaming him! But it does make me think he would not be able to defend himself IF a fight did occur, MOO

I am still curious if someone, Jen??? asked them to the Waterfall.

Thank you.

It’s hard to keep everything straight. I’m getting to the point where I feel like I might need an Excel sheet to try to remember allll the details!
I was thinking about that too. Imagine what it's like for the jurors. They can't go online and check details like we can. Hope they're taking good notes because that's all they'll have going into deliberations.

That's too bad. Using derogatory names for women is completely unacceptable and there's no justification for it.

Quote from the linked article -

"Niece remembers things Karen said on the phone but not necessarily to whom because there were several calls, like:
What could have happened
"Could I have done something?"
"Could he have been hit by a plow?"
Here, her memory had to be refreshed with prior testimony from trial 1
"Maybe I like… hit him"

It's sad that this testimony was obviously coached. She never said "Maybe I like...hit him" in the last trial. Using a devastated and traumatized child is horrible!

I think it’s a two-fer. That, and he’s discrediting the CW neurosurgeon witness before he even gets on the stand. Dr Stonebridge was specifically accredited in neuropathology. Why would the CW need to hire someone else, if she consulted on John’s cause and manner of death?

And, have a neurosurgeon who never examined OJO testify?? Doesn't seem like their opinion would be as important as Dr Stonebridge.

That is such a good point! And yes, you’re correct. A regular drinker will appear to be less impaired at the same BAC of someone who doesn’t often drink, at least IMO/to the best of my knowledge.
