I thought the thing with the fake paint on his arm was clever. Great visual.
Thing is, John was wearing a hoodie so how could he have smashed the light into 47 pieces with his arm and then had cuts that took place as she continued driving. How did his arm not smash to smithereens?

Maybe they did test it and it didn't give them the answer they sought? Therefore, leave that test out of their testimony
Just like the location data from Karen’s iPhone. It would answer a ton of questions but unfortunately, that data was deleted off her phone in April 2022, while in MSP custody. As Richard Green testified to in the first trial

Oh, I don’t think the incident involving JOK and the SUV smashed the light into 47 pieces. I think that LE took care of that part of the case. As I’ve said before, I don’t think either side of the aisle is squeaky clean in this mess.

Ryan Nagel testified in T1 that he pulled up and sent a text to Julie at 12:23. Then how was KR doing a 3 point turn at that time if they pulled up behind KR at 34F???????

I wonder why he didn’t also put paint on the rear bumper. You can clearly see the bumper hit his legs and yet no corresponding injury on JOk

CW expert said today they just don’t have enough information to determine exactly how JO was struck.

Let that sink in...

Instead of the weird blue paint thing (look! when something with blue paint touches my arm, it leaves blue paint!), maybe use that Lexus to show how running down a 215 object in reverse doesn’t register as anything in the vehicle computer.
Did Welcher report if his test Lexus recorded any events? If so, what were the results? I was traveling and listening but kept going in and out of service. TIA

Lol! I stole this thought process:

"We don’t know exactly how JO was hit”

“We don’t know where in the techstream he was hit”

“We don’t have a point of impact”

“We don’t know impact speeds”

-Dr. Welcher

This, my friends, is called REASONABLE DOUBT.

JO WAS NOT HIT BY A VEHICLE.

And that he cannot determine when JO was hit during the Techstream data, if it even was in that window. AKA - the data shows nothing indicating any kind of collision or impact. We already knew it didn’t log as a collision but now we have the expert witnesses saying there is NOTHING that could even possibly point to her hitting him

Go back and listen.....

Welcher said “notice the red light on the fence” when Karen backed out of the garage and hit JO’s vehicle.

What??

Red light??

We were told it would be a white light during T2 by the CW...

Oops a freudian slip....

Ian Whiffin: It’s possible John O’Keefe’s phone was inside the house.

Dr. Irini Scordi-Bello: The injuries don’t look like a car accident so I can’t rule this a homicide.

Dr. Aizik Wolf: This looks exactly like the injuries we see when someone slips and falls on their head.

Dr. Judson Welcher: We don’t know exactly how he was struck. We just don’t have enough information in this case to determine that.

😡🤨😡🤨😡🤨😡🤨😡🤨

I know this question has come up..

The Lexus had a backup camera AND a 360 view (you can slightly see the 360 view in the middle of that.

From Trooper Pauls Season 1 testimony

Snipped from Cocomod’s post and BBM:

“Why didn't ANYONE see the body on the lawn? Jen was looking out the window watching for OJO. Other people left and didn't see a body?? Lucky didn't see a body?? Noone driving by saw a body??”

What times did he drive by? This helps figure out when his body got there/ the body temp

Actually, Welcher mentioned that JOK had a bruise on his knee.
Then why not match it up and show how the amount of blue paint on his pants matches the size and location of the bruise? From the video you can see the bumper hit his whole upper thigh.

Snipped from Cocomod’s post above and BBM:

“Look at his shirt. There are very concise holes in his shirt that line up with the injuries. There is no explanation for the taillight to make long marks like that. The holes line up more with teeth and claws. Science as well as good ole fashion common sense.”

In addition to it being insensitive, one thing that REALLY bothered me about the play dress up is he took all that time to buy the same brand clothing then TOOK THE SWEATSHIRT OFF!

OJO was wearing a sweatshirt. His BARE arm wouldn’t have made contact with the tail light, so i found the little blue paint THEORY “reenactment” disingenuous. He purposely took off the sweatshirt hoping we’d all forget about it IMO

He read from his report that the laceration patterns were consistent with a vehicle impact but didn't explain why that was. Hopefully, Alessi will get into how he came about his opinion because at this point, I don't see how a supposed side swipe could create a downward laceration pattern.
It really insults my intelligence that these dog bites, oh excuse me, lacerations were caused all the way up his arm by a vehicle impact. Totally absurd.
