Like what was that supposed to prove? That Karen’s vehicle had ragged edges? Wouldn’t the paint be more consistent with a bruise than cuts?
Yes

Actually, Welcher mentioned that JOK had a bruise on his knee.
A bruise measuring 1/2 cm and prior testimony confirming it’s in the same location where an IV was inserted. There is photographic evidence of the IV in his knee as well.

Thing is, John was wearing a hoodie so how could he have smashed the light into 47 pieces with his arm and then had cuts that took place as she continued driving. How did his arm not smash to smithereens?
Yes to this. Order of operations here: the strike happened first and then the tail light breaks into pieces. It wasn't a broken tail light that ran into JKs arm causing the injuries. It was an intact tail light that hits first then breaks into the 47 pieces after the strike. There wasn't embedded pieces of plastic in JOKs wounds was there? Am I missing something? Mo

Then why not match it up and show how the amount of blue paint on his pants matches the size and location of the bruise? From the video you can see the bumper hit his whole upper thigh.
It will be interesting to see what ARCCA has to say about this, I do recall something about ARCCA being confused about the blue paint and the methods Welcher used.

Seems convenient to put paint on parts of the car but not all of the car, but that is JMO.

The taxpayers of MA are paying for that along with the prosecution. So many other places to put that much needed money here. IMO
Keep, I'm infuriated with you and I don't even live in that state. All that money could have been put into programs like education that could benefit all that live there. Mo

Right! We heard nothing about the force needed to break that taillight. Isn't this what he should have been doing tests to determine? I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't learn more today. JMO

With respect, if someone thinks that a vehicle going 24 mile an hour and runs into your knee and its just gonna give you a bruise, I will just have to laugh.

My autocorrect put Keep but I know your name. I wonder if I can disable autocorrect. 😆

OK - looking for some help! I am sure that many of you experience this as well, but my family and friends know so little about the case and I have no one to discuss it with other than here. Does anyone here happen to know of a really good source that kind of summarizes the case and all the major aspects that I can show people so that they get it? If you can't post a source here, please feel free to DM me. TIA.

I have a strong suspicion that Judge Cannone is going to object to everything in the ARCCA testimony. Everything that does not help the prosecution that is. JMO.

A strong indication that the defense will be calling Michael Proctor?

snip:

"In a new filing in Dedham’s Norfolk Superior Court, Read’s lawyers announced the addition of Matthew Coleman, of Quincy, Michael P. Arico, of Canton, Nicholas David White, of Milton, and Jonathan Diamandis, of Milton, to their witness list.

Boston 25’s Ted Daniel reported that these supplemental witnesses have been added for the sole purpose of authenticating texts sent by former Massachusetts State Police Trooper Michael Proctor'

Ok.. so I'm totally back to the CW theory of key cycle 1162 as BS.

Welcher USED Trooper Paul's report, and saying 1164 and 1167 are AFTER it arrived at Canton.

I just cannot see how that is possible unless her car didn't record key cycles.

JMO

at 2:45:00 ish of today...

What we see is, and this is noted in the report too, that when the vehicle gets into the Canton Police Department after this event you can see the mileage is 12,665 miles So that shows up um in Trooper Paul's report It shows up in the photographs and it shows up as matching the mileage in the text stream data both at triggers 1164 and triggers 1167

She wasn’t turning, per his testimony. Steering wheel angle only logged one “slight” value throughout the event
A three-point "turn"

“We don’t know WHEN he was hit, during the techstream data” “we don’t know the speed at which he was hit” “we don’t know where he was when he was hit”

- the CW’s star expert witness on direct testimony
Considering the testimony today with Dr. Welcher's data analysis and last Wednesday from the Forensic Scientist Hanley, that while doing her angry and drunken exit from the scene KR's Lexus and JO's phone were in the very same area, together at the same time and the broken tail light pieces were found around JO's body and tiny shards were on his clothes. Pretty powerful testimonies and analysis to contemplate. AJMO

Was the first trigger event. That data shows multiple, large changes in the steering angle.

There is only one, slight change of the steering angle that stays consistent for the second trigger event. Welcher himself testified to this. 1162-2 was not a 3 point turn.

I guess their purpose is to say, yes, I was sent these particular texts by p. The thing is, I bet their responses will have to be read out too. KR's team is beyond excellent so more reasoning of discrediting mp of following professional and honest protocol from the moment he arrived on scene. OH I so wish they could get him on the stand and ask what made you decide that KR hit JOK. Can't say because JMc told me so and that KR said, I hit him, I hit him, I hit him.. THEN let her excellent team go house on him as an investigator. Also not forgetting to ask him why did he not go into the house, interview, tape off, look for blood with luminol and then also notice the odor of bleach, but that would come before he asked for luminol testing to be done, in cassssse, someone in that house was up to no good. It goes on. IMO

There is ZERO testimony or data tying the Lexus and John O’Keefe’s location once they arrive at 34 Fairview and he exits the vehicle. The only data point we have is the time Karen returned to Meadows Ave at 12:36am. It’s a 6 minute drive and an identically named trigger event occurred 8 minutes earlier when she missed a turn. It is much more likely that she was on her way home, missed another turn, reversed the 54ft to go back, then ultimately made the turn, and was back perfectly in line with the time that drive takes.

Too bad MSP deleted Karen’s GPS information off her phone. That would prove she left by 12:30am
