ackkk the study he used to say that 61% of vehicle/pedestrial accidents results in head injuries is from the 70's!

Alessi is trying to get him to agree that in recent years, injuries to the lower extremeties are the most common injuries.
Interestingly, regulations requiring larger bumpers that protrude from the car were passed in 1972 and started showing up in new cars in 1973. It would have taken some years after that for larger protruding bumpers to become common. What a coincidence that he is citing data from the 70s. It seems like larger bumpers that stick out from the car would cause more leg injuries. Jmo.
Bbm

“The first U.S. bumper regulations appear to have been part of NHTSA Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 215 (FMVSS 215), “Exterior Protection.” They took effect in September 1972, so from a practical standpoint, they were enacted by most manufacturers for the 1973 model year”

“manufacturers appear to have been free to continue to use bumpers as they saw fit for a combination of non-crash-proven low-speed parking protection and stylistic enhancement. As such, up through model year 1972, the bumpers—almost always chrome-plated stamped curved metal—on most cars are very close to the body, often bolted directly to the rear clip, and only protruding in the front if standoff was necessary to protect the headlights.

I am noticing a purple eggplant like coloring on his face/head. My guess, B/P is nearing the 180/96-ish range......

🧐

Just my observations....

I want to hear more about all of the triggering events from the 27th, 28th, 29th and first weeks in February, and what the CW said originally about them. Quit cherry picking.

Seems the Dr also depended on Burgess, and we know how that went.

And another CW witness that seems to have a progression in facial coloring when on cross…and both are from the same company that the CW hired

My so
What is it with these black (wedding?) bands?
Both Burgess and Welcher are wearing them.

@ 3:50:19

@2:25:00

My son is a drilling engineer for an oil company and he can’t wear a metal wedding ring while on the rig due to safety measures. He wears a silicone ring while working.

Yay, back to normal speed here :)

Are the jurors locals? I really don't know much about them.
Jurors are chosen from a pool of people who live in the county where the trial is held. In this case it's Norfolk County. With that being said, it's important to note that the courts attempt to make sure the jurors are NOT from the town which is at the center of the trial.

Sounds like a planned intervention to inform JO'K about the texting KR did with BH?
imo
At least for JenMc. For the boys might be something else all together....imo

I disagree, Alessi did ask a question about him being on the case for 2 1/2 years, and Welcher corrected him... I don't think Alessi is frazzled at all, is he frustrated because he won't answer the question asked? absolutely. I think we all are LOL

Sue reports on jury reactions... its interesting to read because when I think something is insignificant, they seem to be attentive or vice versa.

The CW is doing whatever it can and whenever it can to disrupt the flow of questions from Alessi. Thre's nothing wrong with Alessi this morning!

Hopefully that $325,000 (possible + ) contract Welcher signed with the CW raises eyebrows among the jurors, then raises them again.
So they got paid just like AARCA???? Imagine that.

IMO obtuse, unlikeable, Insincere and untrustworthy from the moment he opened his mouth with the fake conversational piece addressed to Alessi. I guess he couldn't help himself. It wasn't his place as a witness to do that and it made him look foolish. Jmo

It gave me second hand embarrassment

So they should be upset at how much this cost the CW. I would be. I'm upset and I'm not even in the same country!!!!

When Alessi first said 44k... I was 'meh, that isn't horrible, more then I'd have paid, but okay' ... thennnnn the rest came out, shocking!

I wonder how much the defense has paid ARCCA at this point, will be interesting to compare.

I know things cost more nowadays but geesh, blue paint cannot be that MUCH!

What a morning. I actually feel sorry for this guy, if he feels as embarrassed as he should, at least.

IMO, the only way she is found guilty is if these were actually the same jurors that OJ had.

just before lunch... Welcher said it was a 'glancing blow'... would a glancing blow shatter a tail light?
