Jackson just asked him the insurance company question... I have read that the first jury thought it maybe was ... he got that cleared up for this jury.

I'm trying to listen and ignore the comments/rudeness. Dr. Wolfe is answering respectably and not trying to go outside of his expertise or what he was testing.

Jackson back on redirect already 😯
And it’s all because Bev allows it.
Hank gave Dr Wolfe the same “ Over Here” that he did to Officer Barrios meaning look at me.
Its like snapping your fingers.
So offensive.
Whatever they are paying Dr Wolfe it’s not enough to get spit at by Hank.
JMO.

Melanie Little and Mark Bederow are watching in disbelief. Mark keeps putting his head in his hands and Melanie can’t stop laughing.

..."did he come and hit the back of my car and I hit him in the knee"...

She has accounted for his arm/hand and knee injuries in that one sentence. The demonstration of
Snipped and bolder by me
What knee injuries? IIRC he had one tiny bruise on one knee.
<modsnip - quoted post was removed (personalizing)
Here is the evidence:
Devers made a statement to the FBI that implicated multiple officers
Devers later testified that her statement was due to a false memory.

Only one of these can be true.

As an impartial observer, which is a more common and likely event:
A police officer covering for another police officer/police department
A police officer having “false memories” that caused her to create a whole imaginary scenario and report it to the fbi.

And if an impartial observer saw that this police officer is not only still on the job, but has been rewarded with a raise, is it more likely she was rewarded even though she can’t differentiate fantasy from reality? Or because she covered up police misconduct?
Jmo.
She obviously saw something or she wouldn’t have spoken to the FBI in the first place. I would think talking to the FBI is a big deal, even to LE. Also she was talking about the chief and an FED agent, not some other patrol officers! Either the prosecution or defense could’ve pulled her records but that would only show her clock out time. I wonder if she even checked her times. Didn’t she testify that she saw some timeline and then decided she couldn’t have seen anything? Which still makes no sense to me. Again, she must have seen something or I don’t think she would’ve spoken to anyone in the first place. She didn’t even try to say maybe it was another day or similar car. She just said it didn’t even happen. So weird. Also her courtside manner could use a little work.

The one test that caused ripping of the sweatshirt... sorry I don't remember which one (it was full on impact) I wasn't at computer when Brennan showed it earlier, so grabbed a snip now.

That’s damage from the pavement. Road rash that’s from the testimony.

Dever herself referred to it as overtime Imo and pushed back against describing her time at the CPD dispatch beginning at about 6am on 29th Jan as a shift. Jmo
IIRC she stated she started while it was still dark, close to 06:00, and was called in from her patrol car when she was still in the parking lot. She said she finished, including overtime at 3:45pm (15:45). By my math, that is about 9:45 hours including overtime. I'm trying not to go back and watch her repulsive testimony again. Is this what you understood her testimony to be?

Unless the Defense wins, and jurors are interviewed and they say it was the ARCCA presentation that made the difference-
Then Wolfe will have the last smirk!

IMO

I am behind. Just heard Brennan say "you don't like that question?" to Dr. Wolfe. WTH?!? If i was a jury member that would have been soooo off putting.

I can't even understand most of what brennan is saying. Very ineffective speaking voice IMO
He’s the definition of marble mouth

He received six months in jail for killing a 23 year-old student, injuring another, leaving the scene, and being on the run for thirty hours.
SIX MONTHS.
IMO.
Not only that, but he now sits on the board that oversees the police.
We can't make this stuff up.

yes, I just wanted to show it ;) He actually said the sweatshirt was 'mangled', and mentioned the crash test dummies injuries as well.

Dr. Wolfe made it clear that shards of tail light would move slower then the body, it is physically impossible for them to go beyond the sweatshirt.

in other words, how I understood it, they could not have made holes and gone "into" the sweatshirt. JMO

Dr. Wolfe has to come back on Monday.
Cannone just cuts him off mid redirect. She does that sort of thing regularly at the end of the day. She cancelled a whole day this week, then a half day or whatever at her whim I believe because the trial is ahead of schedule she says but then cuts off attorneys in the middle of questioning just like that. Stop the madness...

It has to be clear to the jury just how bored and disdainful the judge is? She wants out of the room at every opportunity. Today she appears as particularly annoyed and POed. Late starts, long breaks, long lunches and early finishes. I wonder how many of the jury are figuratively shaking their heads in disbelief. I don't believe cannone.is behaving professionally let alone impartially. Jmo her impartiality is well documented, from the last trial right through a number of terrible pre-trial hearings to where we are now. I hope she retires ASAP once this farce is done. Jmo

The jury gets to think about this until Monday morning. Jackson and Brennan get to think about what else they want/need to ask..

Yes that was his testimony and Brennan on cross was trying to make Dr Wolfe testify to a physical impossibility. Nuts. Moo

I just still can't get over Hank bring up his wife. Sorry but Hank is just a horrible human being and I can see why he would defend Whitey.

I'm sorry, but I still cannot get over the AUDACITY of Hank to bring up his WIFE!!!

Brennan is trying to pick bits and pieces that work for their theory.

And he is getting some points across, buttttt things like the speed at the end of that techstream data was still increasing ... does not help their theory at all IMO
I thought Brennan made some valid points, such as the spinning of Randy's right foot and possibly the weight differential. He did his homework. Still, I don't think it's enough to counter the expertise of Dr Wolfe's testimony and presentation. MOO

I literally just posted the same thing. I am flummoxed!
