If he took 36 steps, it would be away from the car towards the house across the lawn or driveway. He wouldn’t be taking 36 steps in the road, which is where her car is. No evidence she drove on the lawn. IMO

He could have taken steps into the trees to pee, then walked back toward the car or house
That would also acct for the 36 steps- and the digital evidence I saw cannot distinguish the difference between him in the front lawn and in most portions of the house.

They took the dog as why did caitlin make up the oddly interjected for no reason story on the stand of oh, we saw a little white dog lost so we brought it to the cpd, but the owners were already outside so we gave it to them. ANY need for dog hair maybe in the car if ever checked, NOT that it would of matched Albert's dog. Another odd little story from them not asked for. IMO

So why did they take the little white dog they found to the police station during a storm rather than keep it at the Albert’s house overnight?
Likely because Chloe was not dog friendly and had a history of harming other dogs.

That little story could be used to open up testimony regarding what happened to Chloe- the nature of Chloe- and history of dog bites- could it not?

I still have not seen where they account for backing up SUV from Karen's dad's home, and driving forward onto the flat bed truck. Then getting to the sally port, starting the car again and backing up to pull into the sally port. Have they accounted for any of these movements?

The timeline evidence is complicated with the key cycles
A graphic of events with known times and locations would be helpful for the jury to see what is known- and see how things line up

There are many things in this case that cannot be wrapped up neatly with a bow by either side-

Those loose strings bolster reasonable doubt- or leave evidence to be interpreted in many ways leading to mixed conclusions.

How can even the defense team wrap it all up? I can’t see it yet other the fact that there are so many loose strings does just that?

And when that protocol was carried out- still no signs of life

The lack of life signs was then concluded as to having been caused by head trauma- complicated by hypothermia and not hypothermia alone.

Anyone would of done, her, plower, but do NOT go looking at BA or his relative or his house inside. This is the big WHY. SO weird to us at this time. Favors of hugeness must of been called in. Another Prosecuted case like this with such high profile and tunnel vision doesn’t immediately come to mind since OJ- and this case against KR doesn’t have nearly the circumstantial evidence as was present against OJ.

Our friend HB, pretty much led the jury to believe that we all knew the weight of John's arm and Wolfe got it wrong. HB had Wolfe do that ridiculous calculation while sitting on the stand
(Snarling :You've got a calculator don't you...You can do the math can't you....Over here)

The calc came up 26% ish ( John's arm supposedly weighed more than the arm ARCCA used) and then Hank led the jury to believe every calculation Wolfe did needed to be adjusted down by that 26% ish.

Hank intentionally misled the jury which is an actual feature of his Special Prosecutor role. Wolfe tried to explain to Hank but Hank was not having it.

Definitely not a first for Hank.

AJ then cleaned up HB's claims on cross.

If I am in the jury that does not make me happy or trusting of HB.

HB really self sabotages every time on cross.

There is no line HB will not cross

I wondered why Wolfe did not simply repeat- The weight of the arm is irrelevant to this test, and explain why one time. And when asked again keep repeating The weight of the arm is irrelevant to this test.

The only testimony we have about an additional arrival after the party ended relates to Tristan Morris who testified he arrived sometime after 2 am to pick up his "high maintenance" girlfriend Caitlin Albert.

For some reason, Caitlin, who had planned to spend the night at her parents', called Morris who was already home in bed some 10 miles away when she called.

We never got any explanation for why Caitlin felt compelled to leave her parents' home in the middle of that night. Some speculate it was to get Caitlin - and Chloe? - out of the picture. It's also worth noting that her parents lied to the first investigators and told them Caitlin left the party around midnight.

Why the lies? Why the sudden, clearly unplanned departure of Caitlin on this particular night at that particular time?

Or IMO a booty call? I remember being that age and doing such things… (another life)
Did Caitlin not have her own car?

If she knew a blizzard was coming - and Jan 29 is a Sat- then she could be stuck at her parents house the rest of the weekend if she doesn’t get out of there before it hits?? My thinking not hers

As I recall, they lived together in Easton. She, like everyone, knew the storm was coming many hours before. Morris opted not to stay out as he wanted to go to bed early as he'd planned on doing plow work the next day and wanted to be up early.

She wouldn't have been stuck in Canton for days; probably could have returned to Easton in the later afternoon. Boyfriend has a plow. And he didn't call her; she called him. At least that's the story as he told it on the stand. Either way, something prompted her to want to leave her parents' home in the middle of the night despite the plan.

That was my question in a discussion several days ago and this information came out here..

A person cannot be pronounced dead while cold from hypothermia- they are warmed up first. The body systems can slow down and then kick back in and come to ‘life’.
He was Non-responsive when found around 6, they did CPR chest compressions and rescue breathing, and the EMTs put in a vent tube- some of those have thermometers on them used to measure core body temp.
You can also measure the core temp of a body using an anal thermometer- not sure that is easy to do in ambulance.

Air was going into his lungs?
His chest compressed?
They could get a vent tube down his trachea?
Karen describes blood flowing when she pulled a piece of glass from his nose. ( No way the blood was flowing out of a small cut on his nose. Surface blood is brought to the core of the body when we are exposed to sub freezing temps.)

He wasn’t nearly as cold and frozen as I had expected.
So how does that make sense??

Karen had blood over her, indicates JOK still has a heart beat, when the girls arrived.

At the beginning of testimony, again at 20:40 and again when Hank cross examines:
I rewatched the Kelly Dever testimony and I'm correcting something I wrote in the previous thread. At the start of testimony, AJ asked her if she had begun her shift some time on Jan 28 going into Jan 29 and she agreed. Then in the morning when it was still dark out and towards the end of her shift, she was in her patrol car in the parking lot of the Canton Police when she heard the call over the radio from 9-1-1 about a man in a snowbank, after which her supervisor called her to fill in on the dispatch desk for him, which happened to be around 06:00. Then she goes on to say her shift ended at 3:45pm and she left at that time. She pretty much worked a double shift in that case as @Bodhi said previously.
I still think she somehow saw what she told the FBI originally, that BH and KB were seen by her in the sally port during the day of Jan 29, 2022 on her day shift, but there was no way to prove it after all this time, otherwise AJ would have.
I still can't figure out why she presents as such an angry woman just because she was subpoenaed, except that she didn't want any of this to be made public and affect her reputation IMO.
I don't even think AJ was going to state what she actually told the FBI until she gave so much attitude on the stand. He only brought up her exact words that she told the FBI on his re-examination after she went at the defense saying they threatened her with perjury.
