ohhh so we have holes in the back of the sweatshirt?

Wolfe says they are inconsistent with road rash. If you fall and land on your back, you are not going to get holes.

This makes no sense... now holes on the back are from landing? but the holes on the arm are from the tail light?

Jackson back... made it clear that Welcher used a 50 percentile dummy in his testing.

Hasn't it already been brought out that she thought he left with woman or was with a woman?? 🤔 So, um yeah "nobody knows where the ---you are" sounds exactly right. And she was rightly upset.

Without ask who in what house?
Wth. This comment is completely irrelevant to KR's guilt or innocence. In context how does anyone take it to mean she just killed her boyfriend by reversing into him?? I doubt the jury will consider it when they have real evidence to contend with?

I guess it's a typical exemplar of Brennan's case. He wants the jury to convict based on their emotions and ignore the fact that there is no case BARD that KR ever reversed into JO with her lexus. To the contrary the defense's case disproves it. Jmo

Those are dog bites and scratches on JO's arm. There is no other explanation. Rentschler will bring it home as the perfect accompaniment to Dr Russell. Jmo

AJ making clear Welcher also used the same dummy ARCCA used on redirect.

it took 10 milliseconds for the arm to reach the same speed as the vehicle.

did any tail light fragment ever create a hole in any of the testing? No.

The only test that created holes was the 29 mph test and in that test, the back of the SUV was destroyed.

Sidebar... I think Wolfe might be done?

We can hope.

Well I'm just getting caught up on ARCCA guy's direct testimony.

That Test E (in the ARCCA presentation) the crash dummy was hit in the arm (which was less than the weight of the victim's) by the tail light area of the vehicle, at 29mph.It proved everything the prosecution, on their direct case, says happened.

In ARCCA's Test E the tail light explodes into shards flying outward everywhere and the victim was spun around. If the dummy hadn't of been suspended by a crane the momentum would have certainly set it flying back landing to slam it's head on the ground, AJMO.

Why would the defense even put this on as it proves the prosecution's case? If I was a juror I'd be wondering that🤔

Mr. Jackson getting very feisty with those last objections. He wasn't taking that I'll allow it on that one!
He insisted on that sidebar very strongly.

brennan's question is not making sense and the judge keeps allowing whatever it is he is trying to ask. INSANE.

if the broken tail light is pushing the arm... the broken tail light can come in contact with the arm...

it's moving with the arm Sir... (Wolfe has to say this a few times)

Dr. Wolfe is trying to follow what Brennan is saying, but he does not agree ... lol Can actually "see" him thinking and trying to follow as Brennan is asking the question.

I am trying.. and I would post more of his questions to Wolfe but they really are hard to follow.

The CW are under no obligation to disprove every piece of speculation the defence can come up with. The data shows the high speed reverse and the defence agree its proximity in time (and thus place) to within seconds. The only person who can confirm exactly where the reversing started from and finished is the defendant - but she is falsely claiming on video that she did not reverse.

I also note that BA and BH have not testified in this trial.

IMO/MOO
Ryan Nagle did testify in this trial (and #1) and said he pulled directly behind her Lexus, and there was no Jeep parked in front of the house. That isn't speculation, that's testimonial evidence, as BA's and BH's testimony were.

For me the most obvious indicator of guilt at this stage is that the Nagel eyeball+text testimony corroborates the Waze data for a 12.24 arrival time. John's final 36 steps do not start until after 12.31 on his phone time. This means Karen is lying about waiting for him. The data proves he never left the vehicle until 7 minutes later, at which point Karen drives forward, reverses at 24mph, and then we know she must drive straight to 1 Meadows. Then she beings calling him even before she gets back. None of that data is contested by the defence.

All of that is completely incompatible with her video statements. For whatever reason, she is clearly lying.

This is also implicitly conceded in the ARCCA testing. Dr Wolfe would not include video of a lexus hitting a crash test dummy at 24mph in reverse if the defence could in any way challenge that the vehicle was reversing at high speed within seconds of John's final movements. Instead they are reduced to arguing about a clock variance of a few seconds.

MOO
Here are two yes or no questions:

Do you think John's injuries are consistent with a car strike as alleged by the CW?

Do you think Karen's car has damage consistent with hitting John as alleged by the CW?

Rescue Randy is a hero. There is only one true dummy in court today and it's name is Hank Brennan.

Much appreciated!
It is my understanding that core temp has to be attained in order to pronounce death, to be certain vitals aren’t slowed due to hypothermia.
That would be why he was not pronounced until around 9AM

We could infer then that normal 37C body temp wasn’t reached until around 9AM. It took hours- then possibly core temp when found could be estimated using rate of warming.

The ME said temp was measured 80F, this would be core. Not sure when or how this was measured- I do know core temp can be measured with tracheal tubes or anal thermometer-
But have not seen it reported how or when

I wondered if low body temps are recorded as below 80F and the actual temp was lower
OR if 80F was the actual measured temp.

80F is too warm
How did JOK stay this warming being exposed to subfreezing temps for over 5 hours?
Other factors too light clothing, wind, cold ground, snow

IMO
core temp was taken rectally and the time of death according to Dr. Rice’s testimony was 7:50 am.
