Of course. The one who didn’t write down a single word the entire trial. Not even trying to be discreet.ahhh so Seat 1 .... is the foreman...
She moved that juror there a few weeks ago IIRC

I don't think it is like that. More to it. IMO.This is the first day I have not seen John's former girlfriend in court. She's been so consistent to be there every day. I think he should have married that woman when he had a chance because she's been so loyal to him.

Whoa. Really? They don’t go home til they reach a verdict??So they are sequestered until they come up with a verdict.
I believe the foreperson is handpicked by the judge. Then the remaining 17 go in the box or whatever to be chosen for the remaining 11 spots.Me thinks the only jurors in the alternate basket are the ones previously hand picked by the CW to be thrown out..... how else could the foreman be chosen before the draw JMO hmmm

Just bringing this forward from early this morning! Thank you @Seattle1Here's the link from trial #1 with Kristina Rex's tweet with the Verdict Slips as issued by the Court.
It's the Manslaughter-- lesser included charges #3 & #4 on page two of Verdict Slip that the AJ previously requested revised to include a N/G box. We later learned that the hung jury left this form blank because they found it confusing!
In the retrial-- it appears DY renewed the defense request to revise the verdict slip for the lesser included charges and reminded the Court of cases where the form was changed. Of course, Judge Cannone wanted to see a copy before making her decision.
“I don’t really care how it always is in Massachusetts. I care if it’s appropriate. Let me make my argument while it’s not appropriate.” Alan Jackson says. “I’d like an answer from the court, how do they decide she’s not guilty?” (2/4)
“They don’t check the box that says, ‘guilty,’” Judge Cannone says.“That’s not how it should be and it’s over our strong objection,” Jackson says.“It’s immediately appealable…it’s almost like the court is directing” a guilty verdict, Jackson says. (3/4)
“Excuse me, is this funny, Ms...
Why did'nt the court employee who pulled the numbers hold them up and show them?I believe the foreperson is handpicked by the judge. Then the remaining 17 go in the box or whatever to be chosen for the remaining 11 spots.
That said, it’s very curious to me the ones chosen as alternates just happened to be the ones described in the tweet above as “the science one, the notebook one, etc”.
Isn't that what was meant when the judge said that court person will stand outside their room?Whoa. Really? They don’t go home til they reach a verdict??
No, I don’t think so. Sequestered means they don’t go home. They’re all put in a hotel, meals brought in, no internet or news access, that sort of thing.Isn't that what was meant when the judge said that court person will stand outside their room?
They dated twenty years ago. This is the first day I have not seen John's former girlfriend in court. She's been so consistent to be there every day. I think he should have married that woman when he had a chance because she's been so loyal to him.

Like the FIFA World Cup draw? Why did'nt the court employee who pulled the numbers hold them up and show them?
