Imo they are considering guilty of OUI but the confusing charge 2 on the slip needed clarification so good on them for asking. It also appears they’re considering fact there is no evidence of her intoxication level at midnight whereas they have BAC in morning. I’m sensing a win for Read.

imo, the jurors are taking their civic duty seriously and taking an in-depth look at all charges. Does not mean only looking at OUI charges only but needed clarification. I can certainly understand why a juror(s) dont want to convict an innocent (though I dont believe she is innocent) person on a M2 charge and put someone away for life if they dont believe the evidence BARD. We shall see. moo

Except he's been pretty much correct since the getgo. And without him, quite honestly, none of us would be here talking about this case.
Fair. I just think that a smile can be read a lot of different ways and people with a vested interest can see things how they want to see them. Not even deliberately, just like a unconscious confirmation bias. I've smiled at people out of embarassment or because I feel bad for them, not because I'm happy or feeling positive towards them. A smile can say a lot.

Thinking of leaving work early and heading over to the courthouse... It's sure to be an interesting day if the verdict comes in.

Didnt he do the same with the Birchmore case as well?

Just came in from a meeting….what’s going on? Do you think a verdict?

Glad 1:30 is just 15 minutes away….but it’s going to be a long 15 minutes!!

Deliberations clock is still ticking….

Same goes for John Ray & LISK.

So I heard someone say that they reckon that either, the jury has asked the question because they're going down the slip and have decided everything but got confused by the OUI so that's where they are at in their deliberations. But I wonder if they've skipped, decided the rest and have left querying this charge to the end so that they just have one to decide when they go back into the room.

Thoughts?
On 7/8/2024 I opined that convicting KR on DUI was a slam dunk. As it applies to the 12:25 AM timeframe, that is not a certainty but given that we know she left 1M at something like 5:20 AM and she was in the company of other people from 5:45 onwards and there is no mention of her consuming alcohol by any of those persons during the interval from 5:45 to 8:00 AM: the BAC sample at around 8:00 can be considered accurate enough to predict her level at 5:30, when she was driving. I think the jury has that part correct. Should that turn into a G-Verdict for that alone, it obviously has nothing to do with any of the occurrences between 12:25 and 5:20 and should be considered free standing. JMO
I believe the jury has concluded there was no impact of Lexus and JOK at or near 12:25 AM and has only this OUI charge later in the morning to consider. Can't see that taking all day.
And whatever is returned you can bet on a complete polling of the jury on all charges.
Do we know Judge BC is due to retire barring a mistrial here? I think she should be looking for boxes to pack and transport the personal items in her office....
JMO throughout

I have L&C feed, they have the clock stopped... but they were all messed up yesterday, so don't know today...

We do know that the judge said 'see you at 1:30'... wonder if they have some other things to get in order, in anticipation of a verdict?

I think part of the problem is that the jury doesn't know if they need to think about 12.25am or 5.20am because there is only a date on the charge sheet not a specific time of incident for the OUI, so they could get in the weeds about when the state believes she was drink-driving.

Defense team is heading back into the court house. And L&C has the dang fan back lol

Yeah, we believe the guy that is charged with WI and is the mouthpiece for KR and her defense team. jmo

I’m no fan of TB tbh but I suspect the WI charges against him will not stick just like they didn’t and were dropped against “the Canton 9.” Hopefully the CW will take away the lesson that you can’t control the message and the right to free speech and thought will always prevail.

Once KR is acquitted do we start petitioning for her to be the new Bachelorette? LOL (jokes)

Innocent until proven guilty, right? Many of his charges have already been dropped.

Regardless, Sue O'Connell is also reporting that some of the jurors are looking around the room at the defense table, the OKeefes, the Reads.

We’re back. Sidebar ‘so we don’t do this part in open court’ as per Judge Cannone
