IMO it seems that the judge wants another mistrial because the jury is leaning not guilty on the major charges.

This question has nothing to do with 'consequences', it has an answer.

  • #843
Another question. ‘if we find NG on two charges but can’t agree on one charge, is it a hung jury on all three charges, or just one charge?’
The judge saying she cannot answer this - of course she can - just say each charge is independent of the other
jmo

I am speechless. Cannone is refusing to clarify.

Exactly! How can you NOT clarify for them?

She’s absolutely despicable

This will be her answer: This is a theoretical question, not a question I can answer.

Jackson is still arguing.

I no longer care, that judge deserves no respect, she's a moron.

Is this a dejavu?
Regardless of how each of us feel about the accused's guilt or innocence, surely we can agree that this situation is of the judge's own making. History is repeating because she refuses to do her job, which is to enable the jury to do their job.

Her stubborn adherence to an ambiguous form is causing a second jury deep confusion and preventing them from performing their role after weeks of testimony, and great expense and loss of face to the Commonwealth. I can't understand it.

MOO

They were not 10 minutes late, court convened at 1:32!
To even say that out loud, ..you guys..not happy the way it is going instead of being impartial and fair of course. Blatant and ongoing. IMO>

OMG this is so unbelievable. Just tell the jurors they can say guilty or not guilty for each charge

Perfectly said!

She's not going to deal with it. Hopefully the jurors can still work to get a unanimous agreement without Cannone telling them the consequence of a mistrial on the lesser charge.

  • #855
This is nuts.

Wow, a judge that won't help a jury, her bias and intentions are so obvious it's blinding. JMO.

I was waiting and thought we were all set, that she can do nothing to further damage this trial.. I was wrong. IMO

This is so much how I am hoping they see it, NG across or making sure they are doing it correctly. Best for them to see. NG across the board. IMO

ABSOLUTELY throwing in any kind of problem...to KR. IMO

I think this is so prejudicial to defense. I actually hope it is a hung jury again to serve the judge right. However, so unfair to KR!
