Some sources are saying she was sentenced today, others say she will be sentenced at a later date
Her lawyers and the CW said they did not need to wait a week that they were prepared to do the sentencing today. And they agreed upon the sentence. JMO.

I'm going with highly likely.

I don't think Karen Read will miss an opportunity to get in front of the cameras.
They are waiting for her outside the court house.

Move over to the Idaho 4 thread and watch BK get what's coming to him in August.
I’ll be on the LISK/Gilgo beach thread. 🫡

And keeping an eye out for further investigation into John’s death. I wouldn’t want this to become a cold case, but unfortunately, I think that’s what will happen. After all, the probable crime scene was NEVER investigated.

Was it just me but was the reading of the verdict confusing in itself?
Yes, it was. The foreperson or whoever read the verdict, did not speak loudly or clearly. I was apalled. Everyone was waiting to hear thd verdict, speak up, for goodness sake , you could not clearly hear him ! I immediately thought how could thus meek person be qualified to lead a Jury ? Be assertive and clearly speak your verdict on this trial.

I didn't follow the coverage very much, but there was reasonable doubt with the dog bite marks and whatnot. I'm sure she'll be under police surveillance forever, but I'm glad the jury took the instructions seriously.

Here she is!!!!

Crying. But for the O’Keefe’s as well.
Yes, they have suffered no doubt. I hope there is justice for John. Maybe, just maybe they can direct there focus and demand on the behalf of John that a true investigation will be done. IMO, someone will talk.

I agree. I’m glad she was acquitted but IMO she should be careful. There are people (not naming names) who wanted to see her put away for life. Now that that’s not an option and the potential exists for others to be more thoroughly investigated , someone might get the idea dispense their own of version of justice. I hope her legal team keeps her safety in mind.

Yeah and some of those people were cops
That’s why I would file a Federal Lawsuit claiming violation of equal protection. Get a no hold barred lawyer that will emphasize that the others were Law Enforcement and the jurisdiction is corrupt.

Karen is thanking her supporters ❤️ almost four years.

She says no one has fought harder for justice for John than she and her team has. And I agree. Her being wrongfully convicted would be the furthest thing from justice.

Mr. Read speaking on Karen’s strength. Thanking their family and team of attorneys.

As much as justice was done for KR, hopefully one day JOK gets justice as well. Maybe one day someone will crack and tell what happened
I’d love to be a fly at the McCabe house right now.
Now what will we do???? :p
Sadly, there are other victims that need justice so they’ll be many other trials to follow.

The projector tech guy was hugging Brennan and Karen and crying tears of relief. All this time i thought he was against her

i can't imagine how hard this is for JOK's family to see everyone cheer and celebrate. imo, the jury got it right, but i can't help but to think about them.
