So they just sat on this until the end of the trial? I wonder how edited it is? Bet the defense would have liked that footage.

Should bookmark this for when Karen does her first interview... so we all remember she was NOT the first one after the trial. JMO
Apparently he cries.
I'll watch and probably cuss at my TV.
IMO.

I would love to hear from jurors whether they convicted on the 12:45 or 5am drive.
the fact that we do not know is a demonstration of how poorly the case was presented, IMO
the elements of the charges should have been 100% clear

So the defenses theory of random people just beating him to death and leaving him to die, and a grand conspiracy to frame her, was taken seriously by the jury? What a joke. A terrible day for the justice system.
Nah.
This jury heard and saw the evidence, or lack thereof on the CW's part, and delivered a just and fair verdict.
Karen did not kill John.
The end.
IMO.

There is a lot of drama that didn't enter the courtroom this trial. You should have watched. If you don't have the time to watch it all, just go listen to the experts, no one could say he was or they had evidence of him being hit by a car.

I just got home from work. I'm overjoyed with today's verdict. Not Guilty. Not Guilty. Not Guilty! LOL
I'm delighted for Miss Karen Read, but also for the defense team who needs to be congratulated on such a job well done! And also all of the defense witnesses who put their integrity on the line to speak truth to power!
I can't wait to watch the replay to see everyone's expressions.

Isn't she on probation?
She may be on probation but that certainly doesn't warrant being under "police surveillance" which was the post I responded to.

Anyone else watching the 20/20 episode right now? I can already tell just from that teaser with Proctor before the first commercial break that he’s gonna tick me off lol

IMO

Can anyone explain to me the weird wave Kaaren Read and her lawyer always gave?
The little finger and index finger pointed up and the two middle fingers down. I have tried to do that and its not easy. There must be a signal or meaning to it. I just dont get it.

It’s sign language for ‘I love you’. She asked the crowd to do it instead of cheering.

Think of it more like this. Since JOKs injuries prove he was never hit by a car - according to both CW and defense medical experts, why would a jury believe that Karen Read killed JOK with her car? A great day for the justice system.

I'm not interested in drama, only evidence. If he was hit at low speed its difficult to have clear evidence of being hit by a car especially in snow. I have seen people get hit at speed and get right up. He was clearly hit hard enough to get knocked out. The theory he was dragged there from inside the house is contradicted by clean snow around him , no foot prints nothing. apparently he was magically placed there by the group who killed him for no reason.

I am pleased that this isn't all about Proctor so far.

If the State cannot prove its case, the jury had to find her not guilty. And the State and their witnesses was so messed up. It’s no joke.

Well, no, since I'm not an investigator.
The "investigation" that was done here was sorely lacking, and that was proven over and over.
Lead investigation is terminated - that says a lot.
What does OJ have to do with this case?
They weren't able to "pin it on the girl", and that's that.
IMO.

You may need to speak slower.. and clearer ;)

(my fav witness comment fyi lol)

I think it's I love you in sign language?
