I'm relieved that the jury brought back NG for KR.
I'll be glad when some, or any , or even all of the players involved in the death of JoK are held responsible. I hope guilt eats at them every day. Karma is coming.

As for Bev. OMG! I hope there are some repercussions for her blatant bias during this trial. It was shocking. What an awful judge she is.

HB is a whole entire mess. He'd badger the witnesses for the longest time. Then at the end it seems he mentally gave up and began working for the defense. Shame on him for some of the stunts he pulled. (sweatshirt, playing a video of KR at a reduced speed to make her seem to be under the influence or slurring).

Blue paint guy. How embarrassing . for everyone.

I would never assume people who answered the call to do their civic duty have no courage, integrity, or fortitude. Expecting the worst from civic minded people says more about the their accuser than them. My opinion only
When feeling the pressure of the crowds of fanatics on the scene, day after day, one even glaring at them in the courtroom and being barred, hard to say what people would feel about that until you're in that situation. The jurors are not bots in a bubble and they have lives to protect from the craziness. The whole Karen worship at the courthouse was an travesty to justice. The defense's strategy of making her a media star didn't serve justice, it put unfortunate celebrity on her jurors. ALL just my opinion.

The evidence was there on his body, ALL just my opinion. Just like with OJ, I hope John's family and friends can prevail in civil court and find some justice.
I think having to defend the two trials, selling her home, cashing in 401K, losing her job and career, her livelyhood, she doesn't have the deep pockets they are looking for. Justice doesn't come from assets or cash payments. Justice comes from honest, unbiased investigation to seek the truth.

It is not just his followers outside the courtroom. People from all over were there because of all of the media attention in the case. Because all of the evidence that has been presented, they were there to support Karen. The jurors were not taken through the crowds. They have been hidden from the public's ey e for good reason. The crowd was quite because Karen asked them to be. That is why they held up "I Love You" in sign language rather than loudly telling her when she arrived in the mornings. The jury would have zero reason to be intimidated by that crowd. From the first trial, the jury WAS intimidated by the crowd sitting in the courtroom - not on the defense side.

You may have your opinion; but I my honest opinion, it is highly demeaning to say that 2 juries only voted to acquit her on murder because of social media and followers.
I find it insulting to the jury and as you point out, to both juries; and to the alternates, who sat in another room for 3.5 days whilst the selected jury deliberated just in case.

Some have now spoken out and it's clear imo that they were dead serious about performing their civic duty by conscientiously following the court's instructions. Imo

But a jury is not required to justify their verdict. Even if none choose to speak out, to assume that they allowed their verdict to be dictated by or influenced by extraneous factors, to assume they may have mislead the court during voir dire, to assume they may have perused social media on their down time then come in and lied to the judge, or to assume they saw the crowd and then felt intimidated to vote not guilty, is, in my opinion, unfounded speculation; a kick in the guts to good people who gave up their time to fulfill their Civic obligations. It just makes me very angry!

What a great interview and I loive AJ's sense of humor!
He said that every single objection they made got sustained.
He said that the court and the CW tried to keep so much testimony from the jurors. He's never seen anything like this before. He was a prosecutor for 18 years and couldn't comprehend how they were able to get away with what Cannone did and had no praise for MM or the female assistant prosecutor either either. I don't think he mentioned Lally. LOL.
Yeah, I listened to him too. Good interview. I can't remember now which defense expert it was, but out of 49 objections made, 49 were sustained on direct. Either Dr Wolfe (ARCCA) or Dr Laposada maybe. He said that in the context of examining experts, he had never experienced anything like this before in his entire career. Jmo

'' I never doubted what the just result should be, that Karen walks out of that courtroom through the front door, not the back. But did I doubt whether or not I could get a fair trial? About every single minute of every single day. I doubted it significantly"
Karen Read Attorney Alan Jackson Had Doubts About Fair Treatment in Retrial
''Despite these doubts, Jackson marveled at the rarity of achieving back-to-back murder acquittals, a feat he and Read accomplished..''

Woah woah woah. This is the first time I’ve heard gallagher’s testimony saying he allowed the canton police to remove and manipulate the tail light in the sallyport and that it broke during removal. 🤯

He literally testifies to this. Why isn’t this everywhere or am i just “late”???

Below is his testimony. He admits this at 2:47

Ty you.
I think the joke about what time the verdict would come back ,is based loosely on this testimony. they keep the 2 o'clock twenty seven minutes thing up ..
The crime scene tape, Where are those images?

Now another one needs to get fired.
The one that got up on the stand and testified to lies.
Harnett?

The phone and car data proved it, as well as the actions and words of KR. ALL just my opinion.
IMO. The car data became questionable when Judge BC suppressed Allessi from addressing the odometer readings…

The crowd wasn’t a travesty to Justice. They were pointing out the travesty to Justice, which is the state trying to unjustly try her for a crime she didn’t commit. So glaringly obvious. And btw, those cowering jurors, they’re not cowering. They’re putting their faces right out in public for everyone to see. Glad to see they’re not living up to such low expectations. Moo

I love Dateline but this coverage was so one sided. And I didn’t realize Sue O’Connell wasn’t impartial.

Thank you for posting that. It was really interesting to hear the thoughts of those two, after seeing them in court each and every day.

Except multiple jurors have come forward, and none have said the crowd was an issue…

It was beautiful to hear the celebratory cheers for justice.. It worked, intelligent jurors, hard and long work and so much technical evidence and seeing the awful police work and behavior. Lack of. ALL ages and walks of life, representing honest values. THEY SHOWED UP against corruption and a railroaded citizen. Beautiful to see and hear as the verdict was found NOT GUILTY. IMO
Juror Jason repeatedly said that there were "holes" in the investigation.
Try as he might Brennan couldn't climb out of them.

IMO
