I know a guy whose dog bit a man when the owner and the guy were having a yelling argument. The dog wasn’t aggressive or a scary breed but she thought her owner was in danger and bit the guy. He had the owner’s license plate number and was able to identify him and the owner’s home insurance paid. They didn’t tell him how much. I bet BA already had an increase in his home insurance because the dog already had a bite incident and freaked out when Chloe bit John and that’s how it all started. Unfortunately for John, they didn’t call 911.

No one devised a scheme to frame Karen that night and I don't know anyone who thinks that's what happened.

JO wasn't hit by a car. But he was - at some point before daylight - put out on the lawn to make it appear a passing motor vehicle struck him. They'd have been happy to pin it on poor Lucky. (And I think he knows that now.)

They didn't know Read had a cracked taillight. Cracked just a little while before when she'd hit John's car. Must have seemed a god send to them at the time, not knowing it was all caught on video.

Read contacted Jen that morning because she'd dropped John off at Jen's sister's house the night before at Jen's invite. She didn't know the Alberts personally and only had Jen's number. What happened at that party??? Where was John?? Jen called her sister Nicole (they both deny this call, but it's confirmed in the phone records) to warn her that Karen wanted to go to Fairview, as Jen had told Karen that John never came into the house despite the fact that Karen dropped him off there. Jen tried to control the situation by agreeing to get Kerry and go to Fairview. After suggesting they try other places first.

Had Karen not turned up with a cracked taillight, I see no chance of her being directly framed. Or charged for that matter.
I would LOVE to see the videos that went missing from John's place from that morning. The one where KR shows Kerri and Jen the tail light... is definitely missing... but are there more? anyone else happen to stop by in the driveway?

Are you saying that KR on the phone asked Jen to call the Alberts before KR went to Jens house? I wanted 95% of the last trial. Was that stated at the first trial or the second?
Jen did call the Alberts. She had a 38 second phone call with them at 5:07 a.m.., which was deleted from JM's call log. JM said she called the Alberts and they didn't answer; but the forensic download was contrary to that statement. This was prior to Karen arriving and them driving to look for JOK.

See my post above. She left John at the party. She had Jen's number and not the Alberts'. Are you saying you wouldn't have called Jen under the same circumstances? If not, why not?
She didn't even have Jen's number... she had to get JOK's niece to call her.

Watched BA when he came to sit and intimidate at the first trial, then I saw familiar facial behavior of a person that was pointed out to me for a reason, one in the know.
Can you elaborate on this idea?

She called Jen right? She could have asked Jen to call the Alberts to see if he was crashed there. Wouldn’t that have been a normal thing to do, rather than go out in a blizzard and drag two other women with her? One that she hardly knew. Seems she was looking for witnesses-especially telling one to google search about how long it takes to die int he snow..
Jen did call her sister... she told Karen she would call her back. It wasn't until the trial that her call at 5:07am was revealed, but Jen lied about that. She said her sister didn't answer but it was a 38 second call.

For who?
What do you think was involved other than alcohol?

Late 80's kids? She don't lie, she don't lie she don't lie....

Just joking. I've never heard about drug use, but one can't know what one cannot know.

But bottom line, the self-appointed very special Canton people didn't seem to have much to fear about anything.

She also called Julie Albert at 4:55am

Oh, come now. I'm sure that was to make sure Julie didn't forget Brian Jr.'s six birthday donuts. Blizzard or no blizzard.

Canton is the international headquarters for Dunkin' after all.

I knew about Sandra Birchmore, but I was surprised to learn about another troubling case in Canton: Craig Casey.

Those unfamiliar with Mr. Casey's death: on Christmas Eve 2018, Mr. Casey was involved in a single motor vehicle accident - his vehicle struck a tree at a high rate of speed and rolled. Police attended, found no operator of the vehicle and they cleared the accident scene missing the fact that Mr. Casey lay dead on the front lawn of the adjacent home. A home very close to the Alberts'. According to the Canton audit, Mr. Casey's accident and death scene were never photographed nor properly investigated.

Some (or most) of you may already know about this case but I was just thinking that perhaps placement of Mr. Casey's body may have been in the back of someone's mind when the decision was made to leave Officer JOK on the Albert's front lawn (if such a decision of course was made).

MOO, BA and BH had just driven to NY to attend service for a fallen officer they didn't know. They drove to NY (7ish hours), returned, went to bar and the BH "worked" the third consecutive night at the Canton PD after the alleged incident.
They have unbelievable stamina or something else was keeping them up. Lest we not forget, they were also drinking in NY and then again at the Waterfall.

That's what makes his comments weird to me. I have friends in LE who have worked on federal task forces involving the FBI and they've said the same thing.

I'd have to agree about not being convinced that they are finished. It would actually shock me if they were considering how many of the same people were involved with both cases plus all of the questionable stuff that's gone on in this case. I guess now it's just a waiting game to see if they actually are finished or are making an air tight case like they are known to do and it will all come out in the hopefully near future.
If anyone would know that an investigating authority does not have to tell subjects they are being investigated, or better yet, can even lie about it, it would be LE and prosecutors. They know that because they use that as a tactic themselves all the time. You can’t take anything they say about this seriously. Their phones can be tapped for all they know. That’s why I encourage them TO KEEP TALKING!

She didn't tell Jen to google search. Jen did that all on her own after she knew John was put out on the lawn by her brother in law.

The union trying to do damage control of its state police members. I imagine some police are having a hard time with some residents in MA. LOL.
"To date there has yet to be any information that this investigation was compromised in any way."
I think Michael Proctor is just a drop in the bucket of police members in MA who are just like him.

I think police personnel would know all the tricks people do to make murder appear like accidents. Like you said, even the Sandra Birchmore case involved a cop who made it appear she died by suicide. Their line of work makes them aware of how to do things, and get away with, shady things. If BA was involved in JOK's death and leaving him on the lawn to appear like a collision, it's because BA had learned that was easy enough to accomplish and get away with. If only Karen Read was not a <modsnip: Removed inappropriate content>

Well, when you hang all your red flags out like dirty laundry, you shouldn't be surprised when people call you on it when you claim they're not red.

If they didn't want to get called out, they could have just kept their opinions to themselves. How is this helping their members who might feel their jobs are in jeopardy? It doesn't. All it's doing is drawing attention to inadequacies and irregularities that this case has highlighted that are part of a broad, systematic pattern within the police in the area.

I know some people say all publicity is good, but surely not in this circumstance.
