I feel like she’s still very much processing all that she saw and heard in the courtroom, and obviously is finding out way more now that the trial is over. JMO.
one thing she said that confirmed what I was thinking is that the jury constantly was made to feel like things were being kept from them. She alluded to the hiding of the garage door. I did not follow close enough and only saw those photos after verdict but the juror #11 felt something was being kept from the jury and it was.

I can't imagine how those jurors feel now that they have a chance to research Trial #1 and all the information related to this case! They must know they made the correct decision and be mighty proud of themselves. It will take them time to process the extent of their involvement in this historical trial! They will be talked about as a jury for decades and in law books, university classes, and so on. It's pretty cool !

Thank you! I have found it on youtube and linked in my last post!

I liked Sue's reporting from the courtroom, so I'm happy she got to interview her :)

The FBI initiated a federal investigation into law enforcement after O’Keefe’s death, but special prosecutor Hank Brennen announced in court during Read’s second trial that it was closed without any charges being filed.

Defense attorney Alan Jackson, however, said in an interview Thursday with a local radio program, the Howie Carr Show, he still has questions about that investigation.

“I’ve never heard of an investigative agency announcing to the target that the investigation is closed. That has never happened,” he told Carr. “So, I still have questions about that.”

Jackson said he thinks there is “plenty of evidence for them to investigate, and I think they should.”
Yea, LE and a prosecutor ought to know that investigators can tell a subject they’re not actively investigating them when they really are. What Brennan said about the investigation means nothing. LOL

Only if he slept in!! My understanding is that the LE got there mid morning.
Law enforcement was there shortly after 06:00. I believe Michael Lank followed Jen McCabe into the Albert home when she went in to "wake" them up. I believe they were in their bedroom peeking out the window with the lights off for some time before JMc went up to their room IMO. That commotion outside would have woken them up. BA says there was a cop there when he got downstairs, but we don't know how long it took him to go downstairs now do we!
MOO

I think AJ is more free to comment on the judge not living and working in the Boston area. In the interview last night clearly Bev was off topic and nothing really said. I was also a bit amazed at the almost total lack of mention of AJ. I have always considered him the leader but I think Yanetti was really the leader. AJ's name seldom came up. I found it odd.
I think Karen was the leader. MOO..

I heard the same comment in that clip about the cops in his house... I don't recall any cops in his house? that was part of the 'problem' with the investigation, wasn't it? They didn't go in the house?

They interviewed him later in the day ... BUT... he went to the McCabes and spoke to MP and YB there.
BA lives in BA's world and only a few are allowed in.

Fine with me , I never would want to be in his world .
It might even look like he don't want to be in his own world either.

I’m loving these jurors interviews. They literally felt the way the majority of us felt about most of the things. The bad police investigation, the lack of searching the house at Fairview, the ridiculous amount of money the CW spent, the aggressiveness of Brennan with certain witnesses, how bad the some of the cops that testified made LE look bad, the bias objection sustained by Cannnone, all the things…

Even without that legal exception, I don't think I could ever believe him.

I'm glad that was clear to her (and likely other jurors), Alessi said last night that there was also a lot of evidence that the judge simply refused to allow them to present (but wasn't allowed to give any details about it), I wonder if we know some or most of what all that is? They couldn't even talk about the garage pics, I feel like Clint in Space Cowboys..."What don't I know???".

so much hidden from the jury but they were able to sort thru it and come to the right conclusion. Of course the sidebars were immediately sealed.

I suspect that entire Albert clan to be masters of cover-ups over the many years working in and around law enforcement. We know the story about Chris Albert when he was younger getting away with homicide and leaving the scene with a slap on the wrist. We know that Kevin Albert is so incompetent that he drinks while on duty and leaves his weapon (loaded????) somewhere he can't remember. We know that Brian Albert is a scary, violent, angry man with a history of fighting others both for sport and for fun. It's not a stretch to think BA and BH were involved in JOK's death.
MOO
I've wondered about dumping the body in the front yard, tho. All below just my speculation:
* JOK's death was unplanned. Getting him to the afterparty was a drunken plan to confront him with the evidence of Karen's flirtation with BH, and immediately things got out of hand. It’s at least possible that the dog attack came first, JOK fell back and hit his head.
* Whether the attack happened in the garage or the basement, JOK bled out in the basement. They had him propped up, possibly to monitor him. A couple of hours pass and they realize he's critical/dying.
* Why did they decide to let him die? Why not say he was out of control & attacked? BH defended himself & O'Keefe fell? His blood alcohol would back up that scenario. There were plenty of people there who would happily tell whatever version of the story was needed. Was BA and/or BH worried about lawsuits? Pension security? Had too much time passed to explain why they hadn’t called EMS?
* Leaving him on their front lawn was boneheaded. But dumping him elsewhere or disappearing him would have been worse. Cue the actions & machinations of Real Housewives of Wrongful Death, JM & NA.

All of the above just pure speculation, made possible by the painfully (or purposefully) inept investigation of local LE.

The dog.
They were already in some issues with "the dog" . IMO.
I am an unemployed cat lady.
I run around chasing kittens and screaming 'KAREN" all day.
But loving my place in the world .
So FWIW ay?

Watching that interview with Alessi & Yannetti now, and honestly I want them to adopt me LOL I respect these 2 men more than anything! Absolute ROLE MODELS

Too much partying and drinking and it's caught up to them in middle age IMO.
And all the brain cells they have lost because of it. Some of them probably have or will have liver damage.

I think they will be mad too because some people did not testify in this trial. They needed to listen to Collin, Allie , BA, MP, BH and any others I'm missing.

seriously I just finished the Karen Read documentary on Max and I’m shocked at how much these middle-aged people drink and party. I’m 43 and can’t even imagine the hangovers. How do they have time for all that? They all gave me serious swinger vibes, just MOO.
